Warlordocracy Early v19.4

Been working on a primitive "grand strategy" mechanic in Ch.4, and decided to implement it into Ch.3 as well. Enemy forces will accumulate every day you fuck around, meaning there will be more baddies in the finale the longer you wait. You can view these numbers at the new War Table object, along with other options.





There are now two more auto-pause options, to keep the game paused after dialogue windows and after targeting. Also, fixed some bugs and added new high level chest objects, snallygaster nests, basilisk eyeballs, and a new fetch quest.





Tons of progress on Ch.4 dialogue and scripts. Will be ready by New Years.


Complete list of changes:

-Two new auto-pause options in Settings menu.
-Placed two War Tables in Berindal's Estate in Ch.3.
-Fixed bug with displaying variables in dialogue windows.
-Implemented Gathering Izari Forces in Ch.3, increasing finale difficulty over time.
-New usable objects: complex chest, masterwork chest, legendary chest (requires 16 Cunning).
-New item: basilisk eye (used to upgrade pet cat at Jawala's Tower).
-New nature object: snallygaster nest.
-New Gorbo fetch quest in Ch.2.
-Rearranged journal buttons.

Warlordocracy Early v19.3


You can now upgrade your pets in Chapter 4 (demo on Patreon). Fixed a bunch of other little stuff. Here's a screenshot of the new War Table object from last patch because I'm too tired to get a new video of mutant pets right now.

-Jawala can now mutate your pets in Ch.4 Demo (on Patreon), unlocking Beast Master achievement.
-Updated Badlands overworld map (moved Jawala's Oasis farther south), updated Atlas.pdf.
-Boosted skills of Salvio, Favius, and Jonoros (Jonoros no longer trains you in Ch.2).
-Fixed rare crash bug on pausing game with lots of corpses from a recent patch.
-Fixed bug with "objMobEquipRanged" and "objMobEquipMelee" script commands.
-Fixed smuggling lockpick script in Ch.3 intro.
-Fixed Prowling ability script in dark areas.
-Fixed script boolean "if_objCountForces".
-Finished Shadow Dance ability.

Warlordocracy Early v19.2

Mostly implemented new magic staves (see video): Pyromancer Staff, Cryomancer Staff, Biomancer Staff, and Neuromancer Staff, each held by high clerics of Izar. The War Table script is now finished, where you can view enemy forces, purchase henchmen contracts, and more. Also, you can now extinguish basic torches just by interacting (no bucket of water required).

Also fixed a couple bugs thanks to zf13448 on Steam.


Complete list of changes:

-New weapons and animations: staffCryo, staffPyro, staffWild, staffDream.
-Setting "objItmAmmoReq" to negative now only shows missile, no ammo check.
-New script command "objInvDelete" to delete all items in current object's inventory.
-Script commands "objLoadMax" and "objGive" can now be used for non-mobile objects (for the war table).
-Fixed bug where you could select inventory objects on tile 0,0 in the world editor.
-Fixed bug where non-mobile objects would retaliate in messages when attacked.
-Fixed bug where equipment sprite wouldn't disappear when weapon breaks.
-Torches now have use scripts that let you extinguish them.
-Absorb Water spell can now extinguish torches.
-Normal staves now have a range of 1 (not 2).
-Finished War Table use script.
-Lots of Ch.4 progress.

Warlordocracy Early v19.1


You can now change equipment in the character info screen by clicking on the item. Added 3 new achievements for Ch.4, fixed some bugs, and made progress on Ch.4 scripts.


Complete list of changes:

-You can now change equipment on the character screen by clicking on items.
-New usable object: warTable (to view enemy forces info, buy contracts, etc.).
-Script command "findObj" can now be set to "response" for player's dialogue response.
-Divination Neuromancy spell can now utilize the "findObj" command if you have 12 Education.
-Importing overpowered parties into later chapters is now allowed, but toggles Cheater flag.
-Updated Shrouded Arts PDF (for Patrons), and Builder's Manual.
-New achievements: Beast Master, Revolution, Reunification.
-Fixed unblocked tile by water in Lockdell Market in Ch.1.
-Fixed bug where doors would open from lighting effects.
-Fixed livestock in Ch.1+2+3 not having a faction.
-Fixed lover achievement descriptions in game.
-Fixed virtual keyboard keys 7 and 8.
-Some Ch.4 progress.

Lots of new objects and sprites, new scripts commands, weapon tweaks, and bug fixes.





Complete list of changes:

-Updated all chapters with new objects and wheat tiles.
-New objects: pallet, crane, craneTop, waterWheel2, waterWheel3, gearBig, gearBig2, holeMassive.
-New script command: "findObj" to find map and position of all objects in story of given name.
-New script boolean: "if_objCountForces" to test for number of mobiles of given faction name.
-New trog character: Cliffdancer (ambassador outside Jawala's Tower in Ch.4).
-Fixed cliff section on Drumwave Peak that wasn't blocking movement in Ch.3.
-Fixed crossbow hit script so Woodcraft now gives bonus damage (like bows).
-Trog and ratfolk AI scripts no longer conceal or burrow while in combat.
-Confused and Unconscious status effects now cancel evasion and parry.
-Confused status now causes mobiles to change direction constantly.
-Improved some dialogue, books, and signs in all chapters.
-Bone Dagger must now recharge with blood to leech health.
-New magic sword: Parched Throat (also leeches, for Ch.4).
-New sprite for leech animation effect.
-Lots of Ch.4 progress.
