v0.31 Patch Notes

[h3]New Hero: Minotaur[/h3]
  • Uses earth spells.
  • Evolves from evil turnip -> goblin -> greater goblin -> orc -> orc champion
  • Goblins and orc have unique charge ability

[h3]General Changes:[/h3]
  • Removed some unused files (levels) to reduce game file size
  • Melee units can now attack enemies that were knocked into the air regardless of how high they are.
  • Lowered some sounds that were too loud, mostly unit selection sounds
  • Lowered max volume of stacking sounds such 5 of the same type of unit dying at same time, holy nova, or evolve sound.
  • Added a dummy ability for spirit (when a player dies) which tells player how to check remaining revive time.
  • Smoothed out a few areas where units could get stuck


[h3]PvP Mode Changes:[/h3]
  • Beginning units such as turnip now give less gold to prevent early snowballing


[h3]RPG Mode Changes:[/h3]
  • You can now evolve into evil turnip which makes you switch teams.
  • Above change allows players to test out undead heroes without having to play the PvP mode.
  • When switching teams, other human players can attack you but other undead players will be allied to you.
  • Switching teams to undead makes you lose access to fountain.
  • Fixed bug in RPG mode where existing creeps show level 0 for players that join later
  • Dying now teleports you to starting area and you revive faster

  • Added discord button to top left


[h3]Bug Fixes:[/h3]
  • Disabled VR plugins to resolve issue where game may prompt for VR on startup
  • Fixed bug where music could stop playing if too many sounds
  • Raised max number of concurrent sounds
  • Added sound priorities so non-important sounds get cut out if too many sounds
  • Fixed rare case where unit could get stuck when casting dash abilities such as ram
  • Fixed bug where if unit is doing attack move and gets "disabled" status, attack move does not resume after disabled ends.
  • Entangle now properly stops and prevents charges/dashes/speed boosts. Jumps and teleports can still escape.
  • Made the slow effects of certain spells stack multiplicatively instead of additive to prevent getting slowed to 0%
  • Fixed bug where dwarf blacksmith could level up forge abilities


[h3]Minor Changes:[/h3]
  • Slightly optimized homing projectiles
  • Increased cooldown of berserker upswing spell
  • Hydra Bite movement speed reduced 35%->25%
  • Perk that gives AD cost slightly nerfed to prevent snowball
