  • [p]Fixed a bug where upgrading components wouldn’t show venture progress instantly[/p]
  • [p]Added more visual feedback to server browser when it’s refreshing[/p]
  • [p]Fixed bug where loot buoys could sometimes spawn into asteroids[/p]
  • [p]Updated blueprints that had missing higher tiers of their components, which meant that if player upgraded the component they could no longer craft it in the assembler[/p]
  • [p]Fixed so the player ship can’t die in a cutscene[/p]
  • [p]Fixed bug where some audio was missing for some players (should fix jukebox as well)[/p]
  • [p]Fixed so there is enough salvage to finish salvage missions[/p]
  • [p]Minor memory cleanups[/p]

[p]Hello everybody![/p][p]Thank you all for reporting feedback and issues, it's been incredibly helpful.[/p][p][/p][h2]Important Info - Unity Vulnerability[/h2][p]Unity announced they had identified a vulnerability that affected all Unity games and apps using Unity 2017.1 and later. Some of you have been asking how this affects Jump Space. We have patched in a fix for this vulnerability provided by Unity in this Hotfix 7. Steam has also been updated to mitigate the risks, make sure you're running the latest Steam client. You can read more here: [/p][p]https://unity.com/security/sept-2025-01/remediation[/p][p][/p][p]We're working on more gameplay related fixes but we've been very keen on making sure the game works for as many as possible.
[/p][h2]Bug fixes[/h2]
  • [p]Reduced RAM consumption by a lot, which should help prevent crashes[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the Esc/Pause menu not showing up from time to time[/p]
[p][/p][h2]Note for Xbox Players[/h2][p]A patch containing the same fixes is on the way, just waiting to get it approved (hopefully today!). Should lead to fewer crashes on Series S and X.[/p][p]Edit: Xbox patch has been released. We're still not done yet with all the fixes there. On Xbox Series S we have also temporarily lowered the texture resolution till we can find more permanent fixes[/p][p][/p][h2][/h2]

  • Reduced garbage generation and fixed potential memory leaks
