[h2]Welcome to our Coo-munity Flock![/h2]
In our Coo-munity Flock segments, we will be breaking down specific gameplay elements of Headbangers and soaring into never seen before features! So, are you ready for some never seen before gameplay footage? For today's Coo-munity Flock, we take a look at our first round minigame, Run Pigeon Run!
[h2]Run Pigeon Run[/h2]
A test of timing, Run Pigeon Run challenges players to hit approaching objects in rhythm. Want to progress to the next round? Well you need im-peck-able timing! This minigame has very simple controls, however the speed that objects will appear can cause a bit of chaos.
Run Pigeon Run is a first-round minigame, so you’ll be competing against 29 other pigeon-players. In round one of Headbangers, 20 players move on to round two and the bottom ten pigeons are eliminated.
As the music begins, icons will appear either at the top or bottom of the screen. As the icon appears over the button, hit it! However use the music to guide your timing! Hit the corresponding button when the icon appears over the button and use the music to guide your timing.
Progress for Run Pigeon Run is rated by a scoring system, with 100 points gained for hitting a target in time. If you are perfectly in time with the music, you will gain 150 points for each perfect hit. You can see when you’ve gained a perfect hit, as the star icon will appear after the object hit. Miss an object entirely and you will lose 20 points.
