Next Fest Speedrun Challenge

Welcome Squires! We are thrilled you have been enjoying the Steam Next Fest demo so far. We are very appreciative of all the love and support for SWORN in our community. Right now we are one of the top games in Steam Next Fest across all measures (wishlists, daily actives, and average playtime)! There is still lots to fix, but we are so glad you are enjoying SWORN and seeing the progress we have made since our announcement 2 months ago.

To celebrate this Demo, we are going to run a rewarding speedrun event for some of the most dedicated players in the community. Test your meddle and show us what you got. All event details are below!

[h3]Solo Difficulty Rewards[/h3]

Difficulty I, Squire --- $500
Difficulty II, Knight --- $750
Difficulty III, Baron --- $1000
Difficulty IV, Duke --- $1250
Difficulty V, Sovereign --- $1500

The reward goes to the fastest time, but each difficulty reward must go to a different player.
Example: If you hold the fastest time for both D4 and D2, you will only receive the reward for D4. D2's reward will go to the second fastest time.

Record a video of your Victory run and submit it to https://www.speedrun.com/Sworn

Make sure to submit for "1 Char," "Any%," and the correct difficulty on speedrun.com
Speedrun must be GLITCHLESS
Must contain the victory results screen at the end of the run
Please do your best to include game audio

Medieval Steam roguelite you can play now feels like a new Hades game

The medieval King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table are usually depicted as heroes, fighting off the Anglo-Saxons as they try to take over Britain. In Sworn, a new co-op roguelite that takes inspirations from Diablo and Hades, Arthur is corrupted, and you must fight through a fallen Camelot to slay him and save the realm.

Patch: Fixing Framerate Issues

Thank you to all who tested this weekend ahead of Next Fest tomorrow. It was invaluable to get your notes & logs as we triaged some remaining issues before the demo is officially live.

Today, we pushed a minor update aimed at addressing first & foremost the degrading FPS we were seeing players experiencing.

Fix Framerates getting throttled during longer play sessions
Fixed an audio issue with Gawain's Slam attack
Added some colliders around the hub elevator to prevent you from falling out
Fixed a bug where the hammer blessing 'Top Heavy' would soft lock your game
Fixed the Tome perk 'Ancient Knowledge' giving far more damage than intended
Updated the localization files

Framerate decreases after 1 or 2 hours of playtime - to mitigate this please reboot the game.
This demo is currently English only, with no localisation
You can fall around the elevator in the hub, so be careful! Rebooting the game should fix this.
