Hello everyone!

Thank you for playing X8! Your support has been incredible over the past 2 months, and we're excited to present to you our 1st Major Update! This is the first of our upcoming major updates, putting in big new changes such as maps, heroes, gamemodes, whole systems, and more!

This update in particular brings:
  • A New Map - Neo Yakuza
  • An Achievement System

And more!

      PULSE Shield
    • Decreased shield health [150hp >> 100hp]
    • Decreased deflection duration [4s >> 2s]
    • Increased cooldown duration [45s]
    Jaguar
      Thunderhead
    • Increased lingering duration of Stall and Disarm debuffs applied to enemies [3s >> 7s]
    Sarai
      Stasis Pylon
    • Inhibit players from standing on top of the pylon
    Shinya
      Hyper Instinct
    • Increased cost [650 >> 850]
      Jolt
    • Decreased maximum Jolt instances [3 >> 2]

      Quicksilver
    • Decreased shield duration [4.5s >> 2.5s]
  • Improved general expansion of Molotov abilities (Blockbuster + Hotspot) on different surfaces
  • Improved placement parameters for wall abilities (Inferno + Power Surge) to reduce the chance of hanging mid-air


    Balance Weapon Balancing
  • Reduce speed requirement to deal melee damage with guns and the knife
    Game Balancing Game economy adjustments to reduce team snowballing
  • Minor decrease to win award [2900 >> 2800]
  • Minor decrease to kill award [250 >> 200]
  • Increased money awarded for consecutive losses by 15%

    Bug fixes
  • Fixed weapon can fire infinite bullets that don't deal damage
  • Fixed Assist is not added to the Scoreboard when enemy player is killed by Headshot
  • Fixed Shop UI icon is displayed in Skirmish game mode
  • Fixed Shop UI may not load sometimes
  • Fixed Shinya's Jolt ability cant be casted mid-air and it will be consumed
  • Fixed Nyx's Motion Sensors can be seen on the minimap when having Nyx in both teams
  • Fixed player cannot see planted bomb inside Izara's Barricade ability
  • Fixed Knife backhit consistency on melee and thrown knives

    Known Issues
  • Wrist pockets are clipped with the user's hands causing the user to twist the wrist in a uncomfortable way to place the bomb inside the pocket

**Please be advised that players on an older version of the game will no longer have access to the online servers until you update your game.
