- CHAPTER #7 - THE HUNTER

Aslona is known for its strong and tough hunters. The life of a hunter is very routine, but sometimes they feel the call of adventure.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HUNTER
- The hunter may begin their adventures with a -5 Hunter's Bow. This is the only bow in the game that deals 3 points of damage per attack (although it takes a -5 penalty to hit).
- The hunter gets an automatic option to hunt prey in hunting events, even if he/she does not have the right weapon.
- The hunter does not receive evil points when hunting.
- The hunter can find shelter to avoid flocks of birds.
- The hunter can automatically set traps in events that require it, even without the right objects.

IMPROVEMENTS
- Enlarged text width in the text box to improve readability and the possibility of enlarging some paragraphs.
- The image of the text frame has been improved.
- When players now hover their mouse over the alignment icon, text appears indicating whether they are Good, Evil or Neutral.
- Reduced the volume of combat impact.

ADDED
- New selectable character: The Hunter
- All inns now offer the option to rest whenever your character is wounded.
- The city tavern of the story 'The Barbarian' can now generate the option to 'challenge to an arm wrestle'.
- Added sound when talking to the Prophet of Doom.
- New phrase for the Prophet of Doom in the story 'The Barbarian'.
- New sound when the player sets up a trap.
- New sound for birds.

CHANGES
- One of the end of adventure texts of the story 'The Barbarian' didn't convince me and I have changed it to make it more literary. (I'm your father)
- For the same reason I have changed the final texts of the story 'The Labyrinth'.
- I have changed the icons of the character alignment.
- Using bow or spear to overcome events now gives more experience points.
- The image of the +1 Spear has been changed.
- The image of the Quiver has changed.

BUGS
- Fixed a bug where poisonous creatures would not apply their poison when attacked by a spell.
- Fixed a bug where an ally from a previous adventure could appear in a fight in the current quest.
- Small correction in the volume control.
- Some texts corrected.

VOLUME CONTROL

Thanks to a suggestion from [OCD] Mbutu Otutu player, I have uploaded a small patch with volume reduction for all music and added in the options the possibility to control the volume.

- CHAPTER #6 - THE COBRA'S ARK

Prince Cobra has extended his domain beyond Serpent Island and for months now has been invading the Turanian Hardlands. Queen Kali, engaged in a war against the other two kingdoms, for the crown of the Known World, does not have enough troops to fight him. She has asked you to cross the Sea of Storms, reach his palace, and put an end to his reign of terror, death, and slavery.

This major new update includes the first additional post-launch adventure: 'The Cobra's Ark'.

Each new adventure allows me to add new mechanics, new encounters, and new items that can appear in the other adventures that were already included, so these also get new improvements and new options.

As for the roadmap, I'll be adding a new playable character class to the game in a few weeks. You can also see the descriptions of the next three adventures to be developed in the game.

Once we reach seven playable quests, I will include a campaign mode for the game.

This new update includes another new set of improvements, changes and additions in addition to the built-in adventure.

Here is the full changelog of the early access 0.5.5 version.:

IMPROVEMENTS
- Improved images of the male cleric character.
- Improved the image of the Black Castle crypt ('The Labyrinth' story).
- Improved the image of the Aslona road ('Song of Kings & Wars' story).
- The images inside the Serpent Cult shrines have been improved ('The barbarian' and 'The Cobra's Ark' stories ).
- The intro music no longer stops when the player selects a quest that is not yet available.

ADDED
- A new story has been added to the game: 'The Cobra's Ark'.
- Added description of a future new story.
- Added New enemy type: Wizard.
- Added a possible new final boss for the quest 'The Barbarian': The High Wizard of the Serpent (This never appears if your character is a wizard or a necromancer or if you set a trap).
- Added the description of the LEVITATION spell in the inventory (which was strangely missing).
- Added the possibility to find KRAKEN MEAT in the kitchens of Black Castle ('The Labyrinth' story).
- New sound: Poisoned.
- New sounds have been added when the player drinks from the well in the story 'Your first adventure'.
- Added sound when you get the LUCK spell in the story 'Your first Adventure'.
- Added item pickup sound when the player picks up items from the Serpent's tower armoury in the story 'The Barbarian'.

CHANGES
- The Rogue reduces their dexterity by 1 point and increases their constitution by 1.
- Changed the image of the male rogue character.
- The chance of being evil the Barbarian that you can free in the story 'The Barbarian', is now 1/3.
- Changed the image of Sonja, the thief of Turania.
- I have changed the image of a citizen of the city from the story 'The Barbarian'.
- After talking to the thief in the Sand Forest and getting him/her as an ally to steal from the Serpent Tower, the player can no longer attack him/her. ('The Barbarian' story).
- The description of the inn in the story 'The Barbarian' has been changed.
- The description of the barbarian village in the story 'The Barbarian' has been slightly modified.

BUGS
- Fixed a bug that did not display the INVISIBILITY spell description when hovering over it with the mouse.
- Fixed a bug that caused the WIZARD KNOWLEDGE spell found in the snake tower to not work properly ('The Barbarian Story').
- Fixed a bug where when you bought a talisman of wisdom or charisma from the labyrinth wanderer, you always paid double the marked price ('The Labyrinth' story).
- Fixed a bug that prevented you from getting a healing potion when you found it in the laboratory of Castle Black ('The Labyrinth' story).
- Fixed a bug where the reflection of the female cleric enemy character did not appear in combat ('The Labyrinth' story).
- Fixed a bug that could send you to the wrong page if you consult the inventory in the last room of the dark passage in the story 'Song of Kings & Wars'.
- Fixed some typos and texts

- CHAPTER #5- A NEW LANDSCAPE

Our heroes returned to Turania, and saw how the landscape had changed since their last visit.

The main focus of this update is on:
#1- A major in-game improvement that shows the description of spells when you hover the mouse over them.
#2 - An improvement of the graphical appearance of many places in the game.

The next adventure is still developing at a good pace, and I've set myself the goal of having it completed and uploaded to Steam in a couple of weeks at the latest. Let's hope that the deadlines are met.

Here you have the changelog of the EA 0.5.3 verion and the many improvements and changes it adds:

IMPROVEMENTS
- The player is now given information about their spells in the inventory when hovering over them.
- Improved combat graphics.
- The image of the gates of good and evil in the story 'The Labyrinth' has been improved.
- Some moor and plain images have been improved.
- The image of the ruined room of the Black Castle now has more detail and a new option ('The Labyrinth' story).
- Improved catacombs graphics ('The Barbarian' story).
- One of the graphics of the interior of the Serpent Tower in the story 'The Barbarian' has been improved.
- The image of the Minotaur has been reduced.

ADDED
- Added new spell: ACID SPLASH
- Added new spell: WEAKNESS
- Added new spells that can be learned in wizard towers and scholar guilds. These places are now somewhat more varied.
- Scholars Guilds now show a scholar in the adventure image.
- Added new item: Kraken meat.
- Sometimes you can buy Kraken Meat in the port of Turania in the story 'Song of Kings & Wars'.
- Added new item: Emerald.
- Added new item: Shovel. (This item is usable/findable in almost all adventures).
- New secret room added to the Serpent Tower in the story 'The Barbarian'.
- Added a new possible event when exploring the city in the adventure 'The Barbarian': 'The Bandit'.
- Added the option to attack the thief in the sand forest ('The Barbarian' story).
- New sound for alchemy on the level up screen to differentiate it from when you are cooking.
- Added sound when talking to the thief in the sand forest ('The Barbarian' story).
- New sound for when you greet the rider in the story 'Song of Kings & Wars'.

CHANGES
- Swapped the position of the 'New Game' and 'Back to the book' buttons in options to have these buttons more organised.
- Increased chances of finding the BONE KEY item in the Aslona cemetery.
- One of the options of using the spear on the coast of Turania for fishing has been changed. Now you can only fish on the coast of Turania with a net.
- One of the illustrations of the Prince of Caebrend's room has changed. (Two of the three rooms that could be generated were identical).

BUGS
- Fixed a possible exploit before entering the Harsh Lands ('The Barbarian' Story) where choosing the option to go around the land several times and then return could generate a different type of land than the one generated at the beginning.
- Fixed a bug in the rest area of the story 'Your first adventure' that could not return you to the right page when looking at the inventory in this location.
- Fixed a small bug where finding the Primordial Essence item in the 'Your first adventure' quest did not have the correct sale price.
- Some texts have been fixed.
