Your Own Guardian | Art Competition

Spirit of the North has several Animal Guardians but maybe there is room for one more! Take part in our Guardian Art Competition! [/h3][p][/p][h3]


Design Criteria[/h3]
  • [p]Design your own original animal guardian that would fit into the world of Spirit of the North. [/p]
  • [p]Can be a real or fantasy species. [/p]
  • [p]Traditional and digital mediums welcome (no AI). [/p]
  • [p]Draw, paint, sculpt, or craft your Guardian how ever you like. [/p]
  • [p]Awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be determined on 4 criteria: Artistic Skill or Craftsmanship, Creativity and Originality, Interpretation of Theme, and "Wow" factor. [/p]
  • [p]Optional: provide lore and details about your Guardian. Submit image of art below. [/p][p][/p]
[h3]Who Can Join? [/h3][p]Everyone! This competition is open to all ages and skill levels. It’s all about having fun and letting your imagination run free. [/p][p][/p][h3]Awards and Prizes[/h3][p]We're not just picking one winner-we're picking five! 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Awards will be picked by event judges (Developers and selected Guest Artists and Art Moderators). Two additional Fan Favourite Awards will be given by community vote.[/p]

[p]Winners must proved valid address to receive mailed prizes. [/p][p]The Community Favourite Winner will be chosen by popular vote on our Discord, where anything goes. [/p][p]All submitted designs will be showcased in an epic recap video, celebrating your artistic talent. [/p][h3][/h3][h3]Rules [/h3]

  • [p]Tracing over real life references is allowed (not other people's art) [/p]
  • [p]No Ai [/p]
  • [p]Be respectful of everyone's art, regardless of experience level, we want all people to be welcomed. [/p]
  • [p]Try to make guardians original, not based on other games or media.[/p]
  • [p]Don't be scared to use the same animals as other people, but do not copy other contestant's main ideas.[/p]
  • [p]Minors must have parental or guardian consent to join seeing as rewards will be mailed. [/p]
  • [p]Must provide valid Email. [/p]

  • [p]The competition runs from June 23rd through July 7th (Midnight GMT-7). [/p]
  • [p]Submissions will be accepted through this Google form. [/p]
  • [p]Voting Submission will be uploaded to Competition Gallery on our community Discord for viewing and Community Voting (Approval style voting).[/p]
  • [p]Community Voting will start immediately and continue through the duration of the event until the start of the Award Ceremony.[/p]
