Questing Update

Quests will often be chained together to give more meaning to each one. You will only be able to take on a few quests at a time so questing doesn’t feel overwhelming and allows each quest to feel important.

Rewards can be items, world building, cooking recipes, books, farm decorations, and much more.

Cooking Update

I’ve been developing a cooking mini game that requires puzzle solving and memory skills. Fishing in the game requires some precise clicking and I wanted cooking to feel different.

The quality of the crafted dish will matter a lot. For example, a higher quality item could be three times more effective than the normal quality one. So it will be to your advantage to learn the mini game as well as unlock new abilities that allow you to optimize better and better recipes.

There’s Nothing Like a Good Book!

Books can be bought from the librarian in town, gifted as a reward from a quest, or found in a dark corner of the dungeon. Once you have a book, you will have to take it back to your farm house to read it. By finishing a book, the player could gain experience points to level up a skill, a new crafting recipe, or even start a new quest.

But reading books takes time. For every passage of a book that is read, a portion of the day is lost. So, you will have to balance reading with your other daily activities. Some books are short but others may take multiple days to complete.
