Patch Version 0.12.6.6

[p]Hello! I wanted to put out another bug fixing patch before fully focusing my attention on the next content update. :)[/p][p][/p][p]Quality of Life Improvements:[/p]
  • [p]If the End Turn button is flashing during combat, you can now use the space bar to end your turn.[/p]
  • [p]The crafting bench, fireplace, and ritual stone menus will now be able to press and hold the +/- buttons to rapidly increase the crafting amount.[/p]
  • [p]If you have completed the quest "A Sweet Exchange" you will now see the cooking recipe "Candied Blossoms" in the fireplace menu as expected.[/p]
[p][/p][p]Gameplay:[/p]
  • [p]Stopped menus from being opened during the Fishing Contest event, which prevents the contest from breaking.[/p]
  • [p]Mixed qualities of animal feed will now behave as expected overnight.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed item qualities not being changed to the base quality when using a mouse to place items for the Enchanted Altar.[/p]
  • [p]Prevented players from buying more items than can fit in their inventory (the max per purchase is now 999).[/p]
  • [p]Prevented the bridge south of the farm from occasionally repairing itself[/p]
[p][/p][p]UI and Controller Support:[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that prevented some crafted items from being properly refunded when stopping a craft in progress.[/p]
  • [p]Prevented crafting material costs from being reduced in certain cases.[/p]
  • [p]Improved the controller support for the post combat loot management menu.[/p]
  • [p]You can now click on an item in the Action bar and then open the Consume Item menu right away.[/p]
  • [p]Improved the item management for moving items into a chest.[/p]

Patch Version 0.12.6.5

[p]Hello! Here is a small patch to address some of the more pressing issues found after the second content update.[/p][p][/p][p]Gameplay:[/p]
  • [p]Fainting in the greenhouse will no longer crash the game.[/p]
  • [p]Using the Return Crystal from your inventory from inside of the Challenge dungeon will now teleport you back to the lobby of the Challenge dungeon and not the normal one.[/p]
  • [p]Prevented players from starting the "Cracking the Mystery" quest without completing "A Dangerous Repair" quest.[/p]
  • [p]Pathing placed in the greenhouse will no longer display over top of trees.[/p]
[p]UI:[/p]
  • [p]Tea effects will no longer display after exiting to the main menu.[/p]
  • [p]Placing items in wine barrels, pickling jars, and spinning wheels will now work as expected.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the player not reacting to some crafted lights[/p]
  • [p]The player will no longer get teleported to the wrong dungeon when using a teleport crystal.[/p]

Second Content Update for Seeds of Calamity!

[p]Hello! Today I’m here to announce the second official content update for Seeds of Calamity![/p][p] [/p][p]Unlock the Mystery! In early winter you should receive a letter from Erik asking for your help in opening some ancient ruins. These ruins unlock the Challenge dungeon. Please note, you must also have completed Erik’s quest “The Start of a Discovery” and have repaired the bridge south of your farm to receive the letter.[/p][p][/p][p]Test your Skills! The Challenge dungeon is a gauntlet designed to test your mettle against Elite foes. [/p]
  • [p]You will have to fight through 10 rooms plus a final boss to get a reward. [/p]
  • [p]Once rewarded, you can choose to continue fighting or teleport out. [/p]
  • [p]There are 3 bosses in total. [/p]
  • [p]Defeat them all to receive the final reward![/p]
[p][/p][p]New Elixirs! One of the rewards you can receive in the Challenge dungeon are new recipes for better health and combat elixirs. [/p][p]Combat Rebalance! I have made all enemies in the game (not just in the Challenge dungeon) hit harder and have more health! [/p][p]I’ve gotten a lot of feedback that the combat is fun but not very challenging. My goal for the combat was to make it feel approachable but I made it so approachable as to not be very satisfying. I hope with this change it will feel like more of an accomplishment to defeat each level of the dungeon. [/p][p]So this is a friendly reminder to take some healing food items with you the next time you go dungeon diving. :) [/p][p][/p][p]Thank you for all your feedback and I hope you enjoy this new content.
With this update I also did a bunch of bug fixes and other minor feature changes:

Game Play: [/p]
  • [p]Pickling Jars and Wine Barrels and Spinning Wheels will no longer show invalid items.[/p]
  • [p]Increased the frequency that Attuned crystals will appear in the dungeon mining rooms (there will be more changes to Attuned Crystals in the future).[/p]
  • [p]You will now be effected by status effects when your Shadowed status doesn't trigger a dodge.[/p]
  • [p]Minor updates to the Snowtop sheep companion animations.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the bridge by the north pond being unpassable for some players.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a game crash that could happen sometimes when placing archways near fence gates.[/p]
  • [p]The rare spots on the island below Jorund's house should now give the correct rarity of fish.[/p]
  • [p]Sprinklers placed on top of paths will water as expected.[/p]
[p] UI and Controller Support: [/p]
  • [p]Fixed a display issue for the Spinning Wheel products in the Journal menu.[/p]
  • [p]Prevented the Return Crystal tutorial pop up from incorrectly showing multiple times.[/p]
  • [p]The festival HUD icon will now be hidden during the evenings and night to prevent confusion.[/p]
  • [p]Status descriptions in combat will now display correctly when multiple status effects are present.[/p]
  • [p]You can now craft with higher qualities of Snowtop Wool.[/p]
  • [p]Minor text changes[/p]

First Content Update for Seeds of Calamity!

[p]Hello! Today I’m here to announce the first official content update for Seeds of Calamity![/p][p] [/p][p]Introducing the Sky Pheasant and Wooly Boar! Starting in Year 2, talk to Finn to purchase these new adorable farm animals. They can be housed in the existing pens but keep in mind that each pen can only hold 4 animals.[/p][p][/p][p]Refine Wool and Fur with the Spinning Wheel! You can now refine the wool you get from Snowtop Sheep and Wooly Boars to make it more valuable in the same way that Pickling Vessels work for Rock Hen Eggs (and now Sky Pheasant Eggs!).[/p][p]But how can you get your hands on this new device? Keep an eye on your mailbox! Once you have repaired the Ritual Stone on the farm and have purchased your first Snowtop Sheep, you will receive a letter from Yri who has an interesting book for you… [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]New Egg, New Recipes! With the new Sky Egg animal product, comes new cooking recipes! You can now purchase the Poached Eggs recipe during the Rock Hen Carnival. And after buying your first Sky Pheasant, Helena will want a word with you…[/p][p][/p][p] [/p][p]View Shrine Offerings from Anywhere! You can now view all shrine offerings from your Journal menu in the Achievements section.
[/p][p] [/p][p]New Adorable Companion! With this update I have also added a new companion type: Snowtop Sheep. You can change your companion at any time by using the mirror in your farmhouse.  [/p][p]Thank you for all your feedback and I hope you enjoy this new content.

  • [p]You will now be able to interact with everything inside of the farmhouse while the internal storage is being upgraded.[/p]
  • [p]The chest behind the waterfall south of the farm can now only be opened once.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a cutscnene with Jorund from being triggered too many times.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the shrine interior display for some players that only have 1 offering left to complete.[/p]
  • [p]Placing fertilizer in the rain will maintain the watered state as expected when returning to your farm.[/p]
  • [p]Smoothed a quest interaction with Lady Valeska when upgrading your Ritual Stone.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bugged fishing spot on Jorund's island.[/p]
[p] Dungeon: [/p]
  • [p]Missing a fishing catch in the dungeon will no longer count towards the fishing spot. So now you can catch 3 fish at each spot even if you miss.[/p]
  • [p]Using a pickaxe on tilled dirt no longer costs energy.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an exploit with the minecart treasure chest puzzle.[/p]
[p] UI and Controller Support: [/p]
  • [p]Some players were able to buy Quality Hay before unlocking Coarse Hay. This has been fixed.[/p]
  • [p]You will now no longer loose geodes when placing geodes from a different level in the same slot when breaking geodes at the crafting bench.[/p]
  • [p]You will no longer lose a book if you turn in multiple books at once to the bookshelf in your farmhouse.[/p]
  • [p]Reduced the cost of acorns and pinecones in the general store to 100 instead of 200 gold.[/p]
  • [p]Added more spacing between characters for all hi definition fonts to increase readability, especially when entering animal names.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bad interaction with tree tappers and the animal pen when using tools with controller.[/p]
[p] Crafting Changes: [/p]
  • [p]Reduced the Gold Bar recipe to use 1 less ore and 1 less Attuned Crystal, bringing it in line with the Iron Bar.[/p]
  • [p]Reduced the Platinum Bar recipe to only need 1 Enhanced Crystal.[/p]
  • [p]All Ritual Stone crafts should now craft much faster.[/p]

Sound and Music Update

[p]Hello! Today I have the sound and music update I hinted at last update. I hope you enjoy this added audio polish. :)[/p][p][/p][p]Music:[/p]
  • [p]There is now a unique music track for each boss encounter in the dungeon.[/p]
  • [p]As the day fades to evening and night, the music will change in tone to reflect the time of day.[/p]
[p][/p][p]Sound: [/p]
  • [p]Placing decorations and other items on the farm will now make a sound when correctly placed or removed.[/p]
  • [p]There are a few more sounds during cutscenes.[/p]
  • [p]Added an extra magical ambiance sound to the Shrine and Enchanted Grove areas.[/p]
  • [p]Small tweaks and volume mixing to polish the overall sound scape.[/p]
