Cloud Saves and Patch 0.10.16.8

[p]Hello! Cloud Saves are now enabled for Seeds of Calamity! Please let me know if you have any issues.
[/p][p]On top of the Cloud Saves I also have a small patch to fix a bug that was introduced in the last patch (sorry about that!) as well as a few other outstanding issues.[/p][p][/p][p] Gameplay: [/p]
  • [p]Fixed the electric spells sometimes breaking the "End Turn" button during combat.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bad collision in the post combat room in the Slime Caverns dungeon level.[/p]
  • [p]The game will no longer crash when trying to fish the night of the Fishing Contest.[/p][p][/p]
[p] UI: [/p]
  • [p]Fixed being unable to place lanterns and small tables on the farm after they have been removed once.[/p]
  • [p]The aoe damage from Chain Lightning will now apply any relevant combat skill perks.[/p]
  • [p]Removed an exploit that could convert normal quality items to gold quality using the Enchanted Grove altar turn-in menu.[/p]

Return Crystal and Accessibility Patch (0.10.16.7)

[p]Hello! Here is the next patch for Seeds of Calamity. I added a few new accessibility features on top of a large list of bug fixes.[/p][p][/p][h3]Important Changes![/h3]
  • [p]You can get a new Return Crystal from the Combat Altar in the Shrine if the original one you received, has disappeared.[/p]
  • [p]There is a new "Teleport Home" option in the Accessibility menu. This will teleport you back to your farmhouse but time will move forward to night time. This is ideal if you get soft locked in the dungeon combat or stuck on bad environmental collisions.[/p]

Accessibility Features:[/p]
  • [p]There is a new "Pause When Window is Unfocused" option in the Accessibility menu. When turned on, the game will pause when the game window is unfocused or tabbed away. This is off by default.[/p]
  • [p]There is a new "Prompt When Ending Combat Turns" option in the Accessibility menu. When turned on, the game will prompt you when you try to end a combat turn while still having action points left. This is off by default. [/p][p][/p]
[p] Gameplay: [/p]
  • [p] Removed a floating artifact spot on the island below Jorund's house.[/p]
  • [p]All seed prices will be whole numbers even if the seed price reduction perk has been selected.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the double fish skilling perk not working for some players.[/p]
  • [p]Watered dirt is now visually darker to improve the distinction between hoed and watered dirt.[/p]
  • [p]Having a full pack will no longer break the One Small Favor quest when talking to Ingrid.[/p][p][/p]
[p] Combat and Dungeon Exploration: [/p]
  • [p]Made all dungeon door cutscenes unskippable to prevent the player from getting suck in doorways.[/p]
  • [p]Completed bounties should now always give the correct amount of gold after sleeping.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a softlock that could occur when using the Chain Lightning spell.[/p]
  • [p]Changed the third level dungeon bounty request to be the Painted Long Horn bug instead of the Golden Ruff bug.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a softlock that could occur if a sleeping enemy was healed by another enemy.[/p]
[p][/p][p] UI and Controller Support: [/p]
  • [p]The control icons for the hud action bar are shown consistently for both mouse and keyboard and controller.[/p]
  • [p]Prevent accidentally losing a quest item if you try to drop it from your inventory.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a display issue when trying to read a book too late at night when using a controller.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where money would display wrong with a decimal point.[/p]
  • [p]Improved Chinese and German localization.[/p]

Patch Version 0.10.16.5

Hello! I've been working hard this past week to fix as many bugs as possible. I'll be putting out another bug fix patch soon but here is what is in today's patch.

Change log:

Gameplay:
  • Farming exp balance changes.
  • The game will now default to the language of your Steam Client if the game has support for that language.
  • The barrel to the right of the fireplace in the farmhouse has been removed. This was causing some items to get stuck after they had finished crafting.
  • Fixed the seed prices in the general store from being calculated incorrectly after taking the seed price reduction perk.
  • Updated the sprites for the outfit top when walking to no longer have missing pixels.
  • I removed the option to buy the Light Chair and Table in the Midsummer Fair. This was a mistake on my part. You are supposed to buy these from Ingrid, the travelling merchant. If you have bought the recipe but don't see it in your crafting table, you can safely destroy the recipe item.
  • The player should no longer get stuck after leaving chairs in the tavern.
  • Opening and placing a small chest should be smoother now.
  • You can no longer get infinite rewards from Garin after the Harvest Stew cutscene.
  • Fixed festival decorations being visible in the evening if you missed the festival.
  • Fixed the pickaxe animation playing on loop after completing a bounty.
  • Fixed the Soil Samples in the quest "The Start of a Discovery" from not being accessible when using a controller.
  • Some players were unable to play any of the festival mini games, this should now be fixed.


UI and Controller Support:
  • The language menu control hint display will now behave as expected.
  • Fixed the Return Crystal disappearing when sorting the inventory. I plan to add in the next patch a way for you to get back the Return Crystal if you have lost it.
  • Prevented Lady Valeska's tool upgrade menu from showing after you have already upgraded every tool.
  • Fixed a display issue when tabbing in the letter menu and Yri's shop with the controller.
  • You can no longer open a small chest that has been broken. This is to prevent item loss when storing items in a chest that has been broken.
  • Minor text changes.
