A Hunter's Survival Guide
Survival Guide - Author unknown

You will die… A lot.
If you want to die less than usual (even though it’s pretty fun) here’s a survival book we found in the bunker when clearing out a hunter's stash. What happened to the hunter? That’s not important.

Tip #1
Equip your gun and load them with ammo. Sounds silly? You'll be surprised.
Every time you respawn, reload the ammo. Moved on to a new area? You guessed it, reload the ammo. There is nothing worse than engaging in combat and you’re out of bullets, spending reload time being attacked!

Tip #2
Believe it or not, not being greedy helps reduce the number of deaths.
Do you really need that boar meat? Whenever you think “Just one more kill!”, “I can squeeze one more thing to my backpack”, shut that thought down and get to the extraction point.

Tip #3
Which brings me on to tip number 3. We ALL love to hoard, right? WRONG! Use those meds to heal up when you can. Keep an eye on those stats, don’t carry too much and be overweight and most importantly, survive.

Tip #4
Start off with smaller raids.
We’ve all run into raids in the past, getting shot one direction by numerous Bandits while getting chewed up by ghouls in the other, which usually means it’s game over. Settle for small raids, kill a couple of bandits, finish the good deed of the day and be done with it.

Tip #5
Whenever you enter a map the first thing you should do is to check where the extraction points are. This gives you a head start with which direction you should take in a short lived safe environment. If you right click on the map, you can even place a marker to where you need to go.

Tip #6
Sleep it off.
So, you don’t have a bed of your own? Share with one of your fellow hunters. Replenish and get back out there.

Tip #7
The mouse wheel.
This one can be easily missed but use the mouse wheel for different options when you see the popup tooltip.

Tip #8
We mentioned ammo earlier but here’s a secret, there is ammo in enemy guns (I know, obvious!) unload the ammo once you’ve killed your enemy. Don’t waste those bullets!

Tip #9
Make sure to look around your corners as your view is blocked by environmental obstacles. You never know where an enemy is hiding! And that’s the story of how I got a scar on my face.

Tip #10
Enemy’s enemy is friend, or is it?
*SPOILER ALERT*
Absolutely, not! Personally, I say if it moves, shoot it. Unless it’s Igor, I will leave that up to your conscience. However, if you do find an entire army that won’t shoot unless you shoot first it’s best to hold back. Tricky, but who says survival is easy, eh.

On that note, happy hunting folks!
Known issues & How to Work Around it
Issue: Performance issues (low framerates) when ‘Fog of War’ is enabled.

Workaround: Make sure ‘Fog of War’ is disabled in your ‘Video Settings’
If you want to go a step further you can disable ‘Dynamic Grass’ but please note that the changes won't take effect until the next time the world is loaded in (train generation scene). We are aware of this issue and are working on a fix.
FAQ
What is ZERO Sievert?
Developed by CABO Studio, ZERO Sievert is a post-apocalyptic shooter inspired by S.T.A.L.K.E.R and Escape From Tarkov. This survival tense top-down shooter challenges you to scavenge the wasteland, take out bandits, and explore what’s left of this world.

When will it be released?
The Early Access version of the game will launch later this year but the full game is planned to be released in 2023.

Will there be a multiplayer option?
Currently we have no multiplayer plans - ZERO Sievert has been designed as a single-player experience but we are listening to all your feedback!

What platforms will Zero Sievert be released on?
At the moment, it will only be available for Windows. You can purchase your copy of ZERO Sievert on Steam when early access is released.

What languages are available?
The Early Access game will be launched with English only, with German, Chinese and Korean localisation, among other languages incoming during EA.

Can I carry on my demo save when early access is live?
Demo save games will not be compatible with the game when early access is available.
