NecroBouncer | Room Types

I welcome you once again to our small corner of the underworld to tell you yet another story.
It won’t cover the topic completely, so you will still have to explore the game for yourself and learn more. Without further ado, may I present the topic of today’s post - the Room types!

Before we continue, I do recommend checking out our socials and learn more about the game!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1786830/NecroBouncer/

While we do have a plentitude of rooms for visitors to explore, I’ll talk about some of them:

Let's have a look at which room has to offer:
Seal the portals
Three to six pillars (depending on difficulty) will spawn in this room, and three corresponding portals. You will have to move those pillars by attacking them, into their correct slots. After 15 seconds, all the remaining opened portals will spawn enemies and pillars will lock in place.
Charge the pylon
In the middle of this room will be a pylon that is currently turned off. You will have to defeat enemies, which, upon death, will charge the statue a little bit. Enemies will just keep spawning in groups. When the statue is fully charged, it will turn on killing all the remaining enemies.
Destroy
In this room, you will have to destroy enemy respawn crystals, which will spawn enemies every 15 seconds.
Bounce
This will be the normal “defeat all enemies” room type. Enemies will spawn in waves. The longer you are in your playthrough - the more enemies you have to beat.

As I said before - choice is plentiful and rooms covered here are just a part!

Hope you enjoyed this excourse, we’ll share more content like this later and demo will come out soon, so stay tuned!

Please, consider wishlisting the game and thank you once more for taking your time to join us on the journey of a NecroBouncer!

NecroBouncer | Enemies

Greetings, visitors and welcome to our establishment once again!

This story will be most definitely longer than previous, as I would like to tell you now about the enemies you can meet in NecroBouncer, so it is a lot of info we need to cover.

There are three floors with a plan for expanding into the fourth floor in our bar. Each of the floors has its own set of enemies, which can be categorized as: ranger, charger, heavy and a caster (from 2nd floor onwards).

This will keep you on your toes and adapt to each attack your enemies use. While ranger, for example, might seem like an easier type of target to dispatch, you can be hit (and may I tell you it is not a pleasant feeling) by a caster or a heavy, so you also need to prioritize your targets accordingly.

Now to each of the Floors currently available.
1st Floor
First floor will consist of Pitchforks, Shovel Peasant and Blacksmith.

Pitchforks guys are rather straightforward - they throw pitchforks at you, albeit with a caveat - they won’t attack again until they pick them up. You can use it to get rid of them without extra danger to yourself.

Shovel peasants will run towards the player and attack with a short jump that damages if NecroBouncer is caught in its path.

Blacksmith will have higher HP than others and will use an AOE attack whenever he gets close to the player, though the attack has a delay so you can try and avoid it.

It is also important to note that Heavy enemies will also have blue HP bars, which represent a “shield”, making them unable to get staggered. When hit below 33% HP, they will lose that shield.
2nd Floor
Second floor will consist of Holy Archer, Crusader, Paladin and Cleric.

Holy Archer will have a ranged attack and use it every couple of seconds without having to go recharge it like Pitchforks guys had to.

Crusader, much like the Shovel Peasant, will run towards you and attack in a short straight line, but he will repeat that attack once before going on cooldown.

Paladin will be the heavy type in this floor, but instead of having a close range AOE attack, he will shoot slow moving projectiles in a circle around him, so it is still possible to avoid the attack by carefully maneuvering around said projectiles.

Cleric will have two different abilities that are going to be used randomly. The first one will be “Orbital bombardment”, which will spawn a couple of orbital strikes around the player and the second will be “Revive”, which will revive one enemy at random.
3rd Floor
Third floor will consist of Frost Archer, Frost Warrior, Frost Paladin and Frost Mage.

Another thing to note is that this floor introduces the slow mechanic and ice crystals, that upon death explode and slow the player if he is hit. The more the “slow bar” is filled, the slower the player moves. If the slow bar is filled up, the player is stunned for 2 seconds. So, better try and avoid getting hit by them.

Frost Archer is just like the Holy Archer, except it has a triple shot and it spawn an ice crystal on death.

Frost Warrior is the same as Shovel Peasant, but if he is near an ice crystal, he will destroy it, granting him a heavy shield, increased HP, movement speed and attack speed.

Frost Paladin will roll a big snowball towards the player. If the snowball hits an ice crystal, it destroys it and grows a bit bigger.

Frost Mage will spawn ice crystals in a circle around the player, crystals deal damage when they come out of the ground.

Now you know what you can expect from various inhabitants and regulars of our bar. We'll share more with you in upcoming weeks, so stay tuned!

Please, consider wishlisting the game and check out our social media accounts! Thank you once more for taking your time to join us on the journey of a NecroBouncer!

Necrobouncer | Outfits

Fellow visitors, welcome!

I welcome you to our small corner of the underworld once more to tell you another story.
Maybe I’d like to do it as big as the previous one. Yet, the topic at hand is not as vast as the history of this place came to be. Without further ado, may I present the topic of today’s post - the Outfits!

Before we continue, I do recommend to check out our socials and learn more about the game!

While the NecroBouncer started his job at the bar in Devil knows what, we all know - every wardrobe is due an upgrade at some point. Choice is not that big - three outfits in total but we take quality over quantity any day. They are unlocked by playing the game, yet I suggest we keep exact conditions of unlocking a little secret, just not to spoil too much information in advance.

Let’s see what each outfit is all about.
Base outfit
Nothing fancy, yet very decent. We had to start with something.

Green skin, purple tie and brown cloak. You will have it until you unlock further two later down the line.
Gameplay wise:
• Starting HP will be 6
 • Starting maximum energy is 20
 • Gives you an ability to summon 4 zombies that will attack nearby enemies.
Caster
This one is a choice for someone with an intention to shock the audience, pun intended.
Gameplay wise:
• Starting HP will be 4
 • Starting maximum energy is 30
 • Has an ability called Zap which allows you to turn into a ball of lightning and zap in a straight line, damaging enemies that get hit.

A more skillful bouncer can make use of extra energy.
Corrupted
Would you just look at him, he is pretty much cursed and could give a damn about it.

Outfit for people who go all in or nothing.

Black & red - color combo that will strike fear into hearts of all unlucky individuals that bothered you during the shift.
Gameplay wise:
• Starting energy is 20
 • Starting max HP is 0, but instead he starts with 6 soul HP (temporary hit points, shall we say)
 • Abilities cost Soul HP instead of energy to cast
 • Whenever you fill full energy capacity -> it will drop back to 0 and give 1 Soul HP instead
 • His ability will be “Implode”, which will deal AOE damage around him and fear enemies that get hit, making them run away.

Like I said in the beginning - choice might not be very big, yet every outfit, even the standard one has its own charm so NecroBouncer can choose whichever he sees fit in a particular scenario before shift starts, as long as he unlocked it in one of the previous runs.

Hope you enjoyed excourse into outfits, we’ll share more content like this later, so stay tuned!

Please, consider wishlisting the game and thank you once more for taking your time to join us on the journey of a NecroBouncer!
