Minor bug fixes for end of Chapter 4

Fixed a couple of bugs regarding the end of Chapter 4 and the boss fight there:

  • Fixed boss doing a certain thing more than once
  • Fixed boss death animation not playing
  • Fixed Yna's portrait not showing up in the post fight cutscene when she's present

Hotfix for gear not being returned to inventory

Fixed a bug where gear isn't returned to the inventory when some party members leaves the party for an extended time, and gave the dropship in Chapter 2 the ability to self heal. Thanks to Akameka for catching the bug and the suggestion!

Hotfix for cutscene bug in Kiluc asteroid field

Fixed a bug where a cutscene in Kiluc Asteroid field couldn't progress as intended. Thanks to Szarekh the Silent King and Akameka for pointing this out!

An Update

Hey there, hope you’re all doing well! It’s been a while, hasn’t it? I’ve been busy trying out and learning different game engines to use for my next game. After trying out GameMaker2 and Unity, I eventually decided on Godot and am in the process of making a small game with it. What game you ask? A top down twin-stick shooter set in the Fuchian Chronicles universe!



The Last Fox Fighter (working title) is still in its prototype stages and I’m still figuring out how to add the features that I want, but I’ve made good progress in the 2-3 weeks I’ve spent on it! Normally I’d list out what’s in the prototype right now here, but you can see for yourself. The prototype is publicly available on its itch.io page, and you can play it in your browser! I update the game whenever I’ve added enough new features to justify an update, and feedback is always welcome!

I should be clear however, that I haven’t decided to make the Last Fox Fighter into a full game just yet. I’m still waiting to see how a few things pan out, and will continue to work on the prototype in the meantime. Once I’m satisfied with it, I’ll release the Last Fox Fighter as a free DLC for Fuchian Chronicles. If I do decide to make it into a full game, it will serve as a demo instead.

One final thing. If you follow me on Twitter/X, you may have noticed that my account has been suspended. The stated reason was that I violated a rule, but I don’t know what rule I violated and my best guess is that it’s because I often posted links to my Steam/itchio pages which might have been flagged as bot behaviour. So far I’ve only gotten one sentence automated responses saying they won’t help whenever I tried to appeal, so at this point I’ve written off the account as lost and have made a new one: @ShenTzuGame. Nevermind, the new account got banned as well for ban evasion. Which, while understandable, is incredibly frustrating since I only made a new account because I wasn't able to appeal my old account. I'm trying to appeal again from the new account, and so far I haven't gotten an automated response yet so maybe there's hope. I'll edit again when there's a clear outcome.

Transformation bug in the demo fixed!

Fixed a small but likely progression breaking bug in the demo where one of the enemies transformed into the wrong one, making the fight nigh impossible. Thanks to josbey7 for catching this one!
