Fuchian Chronicles News

Hotfix 0.1.2

- Added credit count in save menu back in, it works now!
- Acquired loot now shows a consolidated count instead of multiple entries of the same item
- Slightly improved performance
- Some more minor event changes

Performance issues are honestly the hardest to improve on. I did what I could, but more substantial improvements risk causing other issues such as memory leaks so I opted to not use them for now. I’m aware the title screen still lags a bit at first (though it should be better than before), and I’ll try to fix this later. Since this is a one-time issue and stops lagging after everything loads in however, it’ll be relatively low on the priority list. Thanks for understanding!

Hotfix 0.11

Minor fixes!
- Fixed a bunch of typos/grammar mistakes
- Made the BGM for the opening planet loop better
- Minor changes to some events
- Fixing the issue where amount of credits owned doesn't show up in the save menu is harder to fix than I thought, so I'm removing it until I can figure it out.

Thanks to solaris32 for pointing these out! Other issues brought up (especially the lag) has been noted and I'm trying to fix them!

Chapter 1 of Fuchian Chronicles Now Available!

After a brief delay, chapter 1 of Fuchian Chronicles is released! You can get it on Steam right now, and as a reminder, buying the game now also gives you all future chapters for free when they are released!

I previously mentioned that I'll be setting up a discord server for the game, but after thinking about it some more, decided that managing it would distract too much from development right now. I may set one up later on, but for now, please use the Steam Community forum and the relevant discussion threads for bug reports and suggestions.

Thank you for supporting me, and I hope you enjoy my game!

Minor delay to planned launch.

As some of you many know, I had planned on releasing Chapter 1 of Fuchian Chronicles on December 20th, 2021. However, after thinking about it some more I've decide to push this back to January 2022. The main reason for this is that the Steam Winter Sale is just around the corner and launching my game during this time would not be good for visibility. Chapter 1 is more or less finished, and will be released once the Winter Sale ends.

Thank you for understanding, and in the meantime, happy holidays everyone!
