Coming Soon: New content for Ode to Castlevania and more!

[p]At the start of October we have started to reveal what to expect from the next update of Vampire Survivors, like Online Co-op and Westwoods.

If you've been following the Steam news or public-beta, then of course you already knew all of that, and was probably expecting "Mazerella" to be publicly revealed today and instead... it's an upgrade of Ode to Castlevania!




Ode to Castlevania already has a lot of playable characters, twenty to be exact ( suuure 😂 ), and this update will add 16 more secret characters, here's the list:

We tried to squeeze in as much stuff as possible, taking into consideration the feedback and requests we got from fans, and of course that was actually possible with the partnership we got with Konami.

In terms of characters, we've actually tried to go for some even deeper cuts, but we could only go so far with the current licenses (in other words, if popular/obvious/interesting characters are missing, is only because of the complexity of getting the new licenses we needed for them was prohibiting for both us and our collaborators at Konami).

This update to Ode to Castlevania is scheduled to drop together with patch 1.14, that we are aiming to release globally next week.
Unofrtunately we already know that we won't be able to simship Online to all platforms, but the new single player content should arrive on time. We'll keep you posted on potential delays and release dates for other platforms on Discord and our socials.

We have two more cards to reveal of this 5-part update (okay okay, one of them is just Mazerella...) so please stay tuned for more reveals, there are still surprises, for everyone.
