Speedball – League Mode Single Player Update

In Speedball’s League Mode, 10 teams compete over a season to be crowned champions. To take your team of rookies to the top, you will need to grow a squad of up to 18 all-stars, and manage who you play, bench or rest for each game. Effectively rotating your players throughout the season will be key to managing the fatigue of your players and preventing injuries.

Pick your best team using each player’s set of unique stats (including shot power, speed, durability etc) and traits (such as pyromaniac, rioter, star shooter and pitcher). You will need to draft in new players throughout the season to bolster your ranks and replace your losses – remember, there are no-holds barred in the arena!

Since Speedball released in October 2024 into Early Access, we have:

Introduced 6 new arenas
Added many new game changing chaotic arena hazards
Celebrated the Festive Free-For-All
Brought in new customisable armours and styles
Increased the speed of the game thanks to community feedback

With regular updates we have brought more flavour, colour and danger every month and with thanks to our community, we are building on all the feedback you have provided to plan the future of Speedball.
As such, the next update is going to be a big one.

[h2]What's coming?[/h2]
Coming soon to an arena near you, we will be bringing you a brand new, much requested game mode!

In this mode you will pick your team and work your way through the Speedball League to crown yourself the Ultimate Speedball Champions!

With variable difficulty, you will see how far can go when you take it up to the hardest challenge.
As the dangers become greater in the Speedball arena, your players will become battered, bruised and will need replacing! You will recruit new players with a variety of traits to give your team the edge in this brutal blood sport.

We’re still smelting all the balls we need and constructing our most exhilarating arena yet. But once the players are warmed up, and the paint is dry, we can’t wait to share this next milestone of an update with our players!

Speedball - KillTek Khaos Update

Get ready for EVEN MORE DANGER

In the most dangerous game of Speedball!
Take a defensive formation as KillTek's weapons factory is a prime area for experimentation,
And your team are the test subjects!

With the KillTek update you will find three brand new arenas:

The Armoury
Grid HQ
Cryogenesis Grounds

In The Armoury and Grid HQ you will find your team surrounded by KillTek's latest creations, the KillTek TripWire and the thunderous Thumpers!
You will need your most nimble players to evade these dangers, so get warmed up to dash and jump around these menacing sports arenas!

Fixed an issue where users may experience in delay in being able to switch players if they were in control of a player that is a victim of a takedown
Fixed an issue where users may experience a crash when selecting rematch option
Fixed and issue where users may be unable to dismiss the Options screen using controller if accessed during the transition from the team select screen to arena select screen in Local Quickplay
