Hey!

We've been working on some much requested features for the last few months.

Today we're released an update on all platforms that includes:
  • New Game+
  • Time Attack Mode
  • Difficulty Modes

There are a whole set of bug fixes and adjustments as well.

More detail about the new features and how to access them is available in this post.

C.B. has been hard at work on new character art - we've added painted portraits for Marty, Lucy, Beloved, Creed and more!

Thank you everyone for your support and we hope you enjoy the update!

Tom and C.B.

Ahh! 72 indie horror games and a Haunted PS1 demo disc just screeched into 2025 honking the horn and apologising for being late

EEK3 is the alternative showcase of small horror game creators that amalgamates every year like a shell of flies around the corpse of E3. It's a lot of fun for people who enjoy ye olde PS1 aesthetics and foggy throwback horror. The 2024 showcase was supposed to happen in time for Halloween, the night when the spirits of old platformer mascots rise from their graves to gift polygons to small children. But it was postponed due to technical problems. Only now has the 2-hour showcase of game trailers emerged, culminating in a new Haunted PS1 demo disc packed with upcoming games. "The curse," say the organisers, "is lifted."

Neon-soaked survival horror Sorry We're Closed is a true sequel to Silent Hill 2

It's easy to reduce Sorry We're Closed to a checklist of Silent Hill 2-isms. Fixed camera angles? Check. Psychosexual monster design? Check. Filthy, rust-eaten environments? Check. However, like the celestial beings that make up its cast, this familiar visage is only skin-deep. Whereas others seek to replicate the formula to pay homage or to recreate it for modern audiences, indie studio À La Mode is incomparably brave. This scion stands before the sacred cow that birthed it and dares to continue the conversation that Silent Hill 2 began two decades ago.
