Neon survival horror Sorry We’re Closed looks rad as heck

Imagine not being fazed that a powerful demon cursed you, while maintaining your style and composure to investigate how to free yourself before your time’s up. I’m not sure I could manage not to totally lose it under those circumstances, but survival horror Sorry We’re Closed from devs à la mode and publishers Akupara Games plonks you into the vaguely 32-bit shoes of cool cucumber Michelle to do exactly that. The game takes the familiar fixed camera angles from classics such as Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Alone In The Dark, but combat’s being handled in first-person. Have a look for yourself below, and watch out for your third eye.

With only a few days of freedom left, Michelle spends them searching for answers. Why has a dangerous and powerful demon placed a curse on her? And what can she do to save her own precious skin?

Features:
  • Surreal Surroundings - Investigate the divisive drama of Michelle’s bustling home turf.
  • Cryptic Characters - Get involved in the lives of the curious residents and mysterious demons. Help (or hinder!) them in pursuit of freedom from your untimely demise.
  • Dive into the Demon World - Try to survive unwelcoming environments. Michelle might not be scared, but she’s still vulnerable.
  • Forge Your Fate - Choose who to talk to and where to visit next. With a range of dialogue options, uncover multiple endings in the newly revealed world of danger and demons.

This is a narrative driven game with retro survival horror playstyle elements. Fixed cameras with light combat done in first person.
