Yep, The Devil Within: Satgat is coming to Early Access on April 9th, 2024!

We are extremely proud of how far The Devil Within: Satgat has come. Since the first demo, the community has given such positive feedback and constructive criticism, whether that be on online channels or in-person at gaming events. We decided to go into Early Access because:

We want you guys to be able to play as soon as possible
We also know that continued community involvement is vital to making The Devil Within: Satgat the best that it can possibly be

Early Access will be a great start for players to begin their journey. The initial release will include:

3 massive stages, all with unique enemies and bosses.
An arsenal of skills for you to learn and weave into your combat.
A variety of unlockables for you to find and use, ranging from weapons, costumes, and more.

During the Early Access period, the game will continue to be updated with new stages, balance fixes, and more.

Demo Will Be Removed From the Store Page

Hello everyone!
It has been awhile since we had an update, but we wanted to say thank you for all of the support. We have made some great strides in development, which we will be able to show off in the near future!

As we move forward, we have realized that the demo that is currently available is outdated in terms of what players will be able to expect out of The Devil Within: Satgat (in terms of skills, a bit of story, etc). Therefore, we will be removing the demo from the store page on March 4th 10:00 PM PST // March 5th 03:00 PM GMT+9.

We are excited to be able to share with you guys some cool new things that we have been working on, so stay tuned!

I am the director of 'The Devil Within: Satgat'. I am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to embark on this gaming journey with all of you. Also much appreciated support and feedbacks from players, we have noticed them and we are planning to do the improvement in the release version based on feedbacks received, hoping we can bring you better experience, please allow me to touch upon a couple of things as below, we will introduce more new features in near future for sure:

As many players complained about the scenes being too dark, we plan to adjust the mood of the excessively dark areas on the game screen and make a slight upward adjustment to the default brightness. We hope it can help you to find a brightness setting fits you perfectly.
We have notified some noticeable frame drops in specific situations and plan to optimize many aspects in the release version. Also we welcome you to join our community or leave us message here if you encounter any similar problem, thank you.
We are now exploring possibilities of adjusting intro part of the demo, to ensure we can present you a balanced experience of narrative, tutorial and fun of gameplay.

The Devil Within: Satgat brings together Eastern-inspired characters, intense actions, and an immersive storyline.
Your opinions and feedbacks are the secret sauce that makes this game even more exciting and enjoyable. I genuinely look forward to hearing your idea and experiences.

Updated and improved the Simplified and Traditional Chinese translations. You can change your language settings by going to the Menu > System > Gameplay > and then adjust your language settings.
Updated the Simplified and Traditional Chinese translations of the Steam page.
