A locator walkie-talkie and wild animals

Hello, Detectives,

Today we are going to tell you a little bit more about the upcoming prologue of Outbreak Island: Pendulum. For example, the walkie-talkie in the game will serve not only to communicate with the story characters, but also to keep track of dangers and find interesting places by signal.

We decided to make the walkie-talkie not only a means of communication, but also a useful device for searching. So, you will be able to track radio signals by sound and thus find new locations and hidden places.

The Transformed are visible from afar because of the sparks from the experience equipment. Despite this, the Transformed are very unpredictable opponents, which means it is important to track their appearance in advance. A walkie-talkie helps with this as well - when a changeling is nearby, the walkie-talkie emits static.

We continue to work on artificial intelligence, visuals, and animations of wild animals. And today we want to share the halfway results with you.

Weapon Animations And Buildings In The Open World

Hello Detectives!

The development of Outbreak Island continues and today we want to share new material about the game again.
Shooting Animation
Outbreak Island will feature a variety of weapons - pistols, shotguns, rifles, melee weapons, and more. We continue to work on the gameplay and visuals in this direction, and today we want to show the shotgun animation! We would be very grateful for your feedback in the comments.
The Science Center on the Island
In the open world of Outbreak Island, you will be able to explore different buildings. For example, there will be residential buildings (a whole city!), warehouses, a military base and even a mysterious church by the cliff. In this devlog we will show you a prototype of the research center buildings.

Development Progress: Water Gameplay

Hello Detectives!

The development of Outbreak Island continues and today we want to share new material about the game again.
New Water
Outbreak Island is an open-world game, but there is not only land, but also water. Not so long ago we updated the physics and the visuals of the ocean that surrounds the island. Now the water surface looks realistic and doesn't cause FPS slumps. Check it out!
Underwater Gameplay
In addition to the land-based gameplay, there will be underwater gameplay in Outbreak Island. Unfortunately, you won't be able to sail far - strange storms don't allow you to just swim away. But you can explore local reefs and collect necessary resources from the wrecked ships nearby. But don't forget about oxygen - unfortunately, our detective is just an ordinary man, not a professional swimmer.
