Update "Chapter 2" (v.0.3) - 04/18/22



We present to your attention a huge update "Chapter 2", the development of which lasted three long months.

- New locations that continue the game’s storyline
- New side quests
- Computers at levels are now interactive
- Fixed 0.2 upgrade issues, in particular possible crashes
- Added a lock on sprinting in a block with cold weapon/fists
- Now you can trade with the smuggler Zmej after completing the related quest
- Reworked sleep mechanics: now time is rewinded forward by 5 hours
- Fixed a bug with loading the level, when it was possible to jump forward holding the movement keys
- Fixed a bug with the sound of picking up a weapon that appears when loading level or saving
- Character can no longer pick up weapons he already has

ATTENTION!
If you have already played in early versions, it's necessary to DELETE old saved games and start a new game to avoid bugs!

How to delete save games:
Open Steam, go to your Library, find SALVATIONLAND, press right click -> Properties, then go to "Local Files" and click "Browse..." In the folder that you have opened, just run SALVLAND_SaveRemover.bat and press Y and Enter to confirm, or manually remove all files from the Saves subfolder.

Quickfix 0.2.1 - February 21, 2022

Small update to fix some unexpected bugs.

ATTENTION!
If you have already played version 0.1, it's necessary to DELETE old saved games and start a new game to avoid bugs!

How to delete save games:
Open Steam, go to your Library, find SALVATIONLAND, press right click -> Properties, then go to "Local Files" and click "Browse..."
In the folder that you have opened, just run SALVLAND_SaveRemover.bat, or manually remove all files from the Saves subfolder.
Saved games from version 0.2 are supported in 0.2.1, so you don't need to delete him.

Short changelog:

Corrected some mistakes in English
Fixed bugs on "Militia station" level
Fixed missing texture of books
Edited a saved games remover - now it'll require confirmation to delete saved games
"Fade out" effect during level transition now playing slightly faster
Fixed stretched textures on abandoned school building

Known problems found after the 0.2 release:
1) Sometimes weapons may be taken at certain interior levels and then may also disappear,
2) A bug with music and sounds during level transitions: some background sounds may suddenly stop playing. Loading the last save fixes the problem.

These problems will be fixed in version 0.2.5.

The Old Neighborhood has been expanded - more space for exploration,
More detailed buildings, most of them recreated from scratch,

Fixed a problem that allowed the player to pass through some characters,
Level "Abandoned School" - fixed problems with NPC's paths,
Victor can no longer freeze at night during dialogue,
Fixed bug with the display of weapons on levels where they couldn't be used (2),
Auto-saves now properly records on during transitions for levels the protagonist has already been,
Some technical changes have been made for the next major updates,
Added more voice lines for Schweitzer,
Slight performance increase,
Various minor bugs have been fixed.

Next update is scheduled for 5 March and continuing to expand the locations and features available in the first chapter.
The first major update under the title "Chapter 2" is also planned for March, with a continuation of the main plot and several new minor tasks on a new series of locations offering more opportunities for role-playing in the open world. We're not yet giving the exact date of the second chapter release, but follow the news, there are many interesting updates ahead!

SALVATIONLAND Launcher quickfix

This minor update is intended to unlink our game launcher from .NET Framework 3.5. Launcher has been recompile and now requires the newer .NET Framework 4 to run, this can solve any of potential problems with installing for individual users.

SALVATIONLAND Update (0.1.9) - January 9, 2022



After several days of development from the moment of release, we are ready to submit to you the first update of our game.

Changelog:

Added a hint for picking up a hammer (basement of an abandoned school),
The mechanics of blocking due fights have been revised: now enemy hits are blocked more effectively,
Fixed a critical bug with opening inventory under certain conditions,
Added a hint when using first-aid kits, if the character has maximum health,
Added a hint when picking up pills, if the character has a full supply,
Added initial support for Steam Achievements,
Level "Beginning": now you can't go through the Semyon and you can't leave guest house until you talk with him again,
Level "Police Station - 2": now the inventory is turned off until the backpack is picked up (elements of survival are frozen at this moment),
Level "Old Neighborhood - 1": distant range of some objects has been increased,
Level "Old Neighborhood - 1": Semyon is now correctly taking medicine when you moving between levels/sleeping,
Revised and extended some dialogues (reseller, Schweitzer),
Fixed a dialogue with a reseller that appears without him after moving between levels,
Some enemies have less health points and slower attack speed now,
Special item name no longer overlap the compass image in inventory,
Increased distance of flashlight; the night auto light has become a little brighter,
Fixed the disappearing dialogue with Helen if the character goes to sleep/returned from another level,
Fixed bug with the display of weapons where they could not be used (and vice versa, their disappearance, where possible),
The dialogue with the grandson will now work even after the transitions between levels,
Enemies no longer screaming an alert voice lines when character is already fallen in battle;
Balanced the replay time of enemy alert voice lines,
Fixed a bug with clinic guard's waypoints when he's going back to work,
Fixed a bug with the endless repeating of "Task completed" hint after completing the task of the Pharmacist,
Fixed some logic bugs in the side quests.
