[p]From October 17th-19th, we’re running a three-day Server Slam Open Test. It’s one final opportunity to get your hands on ARC Raiders before launch. Get your Squad together and mark your calendars. Arc Raiders! It's an extraction shooter! A fact that will leave many with the question, "is this the one that'll push the genre to the mainstream?" Personally I haven't the foggiest, and I don't have a horse in that race either. That kind of nonsense matters more to shareholders than it does to little old me. Still, we've not got a huge amount of time to wait to find out if Arc Raiders is the one to make extraction shooters big, as during Geoff's Livestream of Questionable Quality and Orbs, it got a release date.

[p]Raiders,[/p][p]As you may have seen, we finally dropped the news many of you have been waiting for: ARC Raiders launches on October 30, 2025, on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, on consoles through PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and via cloud streaming through NVIDIA GeForce Now. [/p][p]The announcement was made on stage at the Summer Game Fest show at the YouTube Theatre in Los Angeles just now, with a brand new trailer that you can check out here:[/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]From the very beginning, this project has been a labor of love, shaped not only by our team at Embark Studios, but by you, our community. Your feedback, energy, and support—particularly in the last two tech tests—have played a vital role in shaping the experience we’re about to launch. So on behalf of all of us, thank you![/p][p]Speaking of tech tests, a big shoutout to all of you who showed up and played last month! [/p][p]Tech Test 2 was the best rehearsal we could get ahead of release this fall. You gave us thoughtful, sharp feedback, and the test helped us hone in on plenty of things we’re addressing in the last stretch of development: there are bugs to squash, as well as general polish and performance improvements to be done.
