Co-Op Career Mode Beta is LIVE!

  • [p]There is always a chance this build could cause issues with your save data (career progress). [/p]
  • [p]As a precaution, please back up your save files before playing.

[h3]How to Join the Beta[/h3]
  1. [p]Make sure you are not running Spray Paint Simulator.[/p]
  2. [p]Go to your Steam Library, right click Spray Paint Simulator and choose Properties [/p]
  3. [p]Select the Betas tab [/p]
  4. [p]Under Private Betas, enter the access code:
    BetaTestBranch β†’ click Check Code [/p]
  5. [p]From the dropdown, choose: betatest - Beta Test Branch [/p]
  6. [p]Steam will update the game and you will be ready to test[/p]
[p]If you have successfully switched to the beta test, you should see 'Co-Op Career Mode Beta Test' displayed on the main menu of the game when you launch it.[/p][p] [/p][h3]How to Go Back to the Standard Game[/h3]
  • [p]Open the Betas tab again [/p]
  • [p]From the dropdown, select:
    None (leave all beta programs) [/p]
  • [p]Steam will update the game back to the regular version [/p]

Co-Op Career Mode Beta Test – Starts Monday Sept 8

Improved Scaffolding

  • It's now easier to get on/off scaffolding ladders and it is also slightly taller.
  • Invert look now also applies to aim mode.
  • Battery placement now resets when reloading the level (in case you've lost the battery somewhere)

Cherry Picker Rotation

It is now possible to enable cherry picker rotation from the controls screen. It remains disabled by default but can be enabled if preferred.

There's also a potential fix for a reported issue with filler not appearing properly on the bridge level.

Improved task highlighter and cherry picker

  • Task highlight for unpainted areas has been extended to consider neighbouring pixels making areas of low paint density show up better.
  • The cherry picker has a number of automatic stability improvements
  • A few beams on the bridge have slightly lower paint requirements to better account for the use of the medium nozzle.
  • Save on termination now explicitly ensures it is never asynchronous
