Summer serie - Episode 2: Camilla

[h2]Second episode: Camilla[/h2]

As the game is located (supposedly) in the Mediterranean area, we had to take inspiration from South cultures and populations. We found great ideas in popular TV Shows and their characters living in Renaissance-like times. We wanted Camilla to be beautiful, ambitious, and ruthless so we obviously chose strong independent figures as references to create her.

The inspirations we chose are the Queen Anne Boleyn and Mary Tudor from The Tudors TV Show portraying the British Royal Court in the XVIth century. These two women are strong characters with power.

[h3]Camilla's outfit references and the final look[/h3]

The dresses we used as a reference were the ones worn by Catarina de Lurton in the TV Show Deus Salve o Rei and Lady Margaery in Game of Thrones. The collar, structure, and colors of the dress are thought to be luxurious for a wedding gown in Renaissance times. For the puff sleeves, we took inspiration from an artisanal creation made by A l'entrada Shop. Go see their amazing work!

Camilla stands out in the final key art with her white gown and the intriguing situation with her mother Letizia and Bast. She seems satisfied with what is happening. We learn in the Story Trailer that Camilla is strategic and comes from a broken family. She arranged this alliance with a wealthy family to give her family members the possibility to enrich themselves and live decently.
