Pinecone Game: Albion
So, you are probably wondering what Albion is mentioned at the end of the final update of Pinecone Game.
It's time to lift the veil of secrecy and announce that the development of a sequel to Pinecone Game called Pinecone Game: Albion has been underway for some time.
During the work on Pinecone Game, many different ideas that are already difficult to fit into the original game were born, and therefore it was decided to make a sequel.
The essence of the game will still be to collect pinecones and throw them into a well, but the process of finding pinecones will become more difficult and interesting. The game world will be divided into regions, in each of which the player will have to go through a separate adventure full of secrets and challenges.
In addition to the single-player campaign, there are also plans to add two multiplayer modes to the game:
It is planned to release the game in early access. Regions for the single-player campaign will be added gradually, at the start of the game at least two regions will be available (as well as one or more secret ones). Initially, the game will be released for PC on Steam, but in the future there is a possibility of porting it to other devices and platforms.
At the moment, Pinecone Game: Albion is in the process of developing the architecture and game mechanics of the single-player campaign.
The original Pinecone Game will continue to work. There will be no more content updates, but we will continue to release patches if any bugs are found.
Also, players who have achieved certain success in the Pinecone Game will receive various bonuses in Albion, so stay tuned and keep throwing pinecones into the well.
