What to look forward to:

Hi chat,

As you might know, The game has been in development for 7 years. We've put our hearts and souls into it and we've gotten a lot of questions around new content and about a potential roadmap. (More about that later in this post)

[h3]Next Update[/h3]
The next content patch should bring achievements, cloth armor, staff/wands, new level 4-6 monsters, Vault device, more advanced character AI.

On the balancing side we have some upcoming things, nothing is set in stone, but we're playing around with balancing (as any rpg-dev should do). We might disable instability, put a flat party cap for every node tier on the map (and scale the difficulty automatically), revamp skill points cost and cap character levels to 10. We're not sure when it will release yet, but it won't be too long.

[h3]Roadmap[/h3]
At this moment we're not comfortable releasing a roadmap, unless we can't keep it to a T. We also don't want to be bogged down by certain specific promises which we later need to rethink or realise can't be achieved and therefor have shot ourselves in the foot, and also; shoot YOU guys in the feet as collateral.

However, we want to finish the 1.0 release within a year - which should give you a pretty OK idea of the amount of content we're going to be able to add to the game.

[h3]Future Updates[/h3]
For the skill/power curve, we'll be mostly solidifying early-game, mid-game and end-game roughly equally, while working on QoL and bug fixes at the same time.

More mid-game and end-game content will come up in future patches. But for now, we're focused on the next content update and its' details mentioned above.
