Faction Eldritch Cult and its units
Meanwhile, we're done with Berold's faction! Let's welcome units from the Eldritch Cult faction!
We previously introduced you to Zavris. Once a revered sorceress and scholar, who has fallen into despair. Dedicated to studying the Forbidden Arts, she truly mastered the most vile forms of magic. Her fragile body hides a power beyond most mortals' reach, bolstered by the foul gods she worships.
Cult Leaders often use Agonists as personal bodyguards due to their ability to trick the victim's mind.

Those who seek forgiveness from their foul gods become Martyrs. Fully devoted to worship, they surrender all selfish desires.

Otherworldly creatures occupying a human vessel. Regarded as the gods' messengers, they whisper commands from the Beyond that only the faithful can hear.

Cult Evangelists spread the message of the Gods from Beyond to the masses. Skilled orators and manipulators, they take advantage of the neglected and downtrodden in this world.

Those who yearn for a purpose in their lives risk becoming Fanatics when recruited by the Cult. Their views are deemed too extreme even by their brothers and sisters in faith. Often favored by the patron god of their cult, there is truly no task beneath these wretches.

Raiders prefer to act swiftly and ruthlessly: breaking into enemy lines, they weaken their armor and sow panic among the ranks.

Skirmishers were widely used for ambushes during the Inquisition's war on the Cults. It is said that they spend a small portion of their soul to enchant each bolt they fire.

The Gods from Beyond shared vast knowledge forbidden by the Church. Ritualists study and utilize this dark insight, helping the Cult grow and prosper.

Ascended to a higher plane of existence, Visitors sometimes show erratic behavior that is unnerving to other cultists. Their power far surpasses that of a regular worshipper, but their actions make others hesitant to ascend if opportunity arises.

Some of the ascended cultists retain more of the humanity than others. When left alone, they can remain in a trance for a long time, earning them the title of Voidgazers.
