Lag Hunting: Performance Imrpovements

[h3]Hello friends and players! With our recent multiplayer update, 0.8, we've made significant improvements and added tons of content, but it seems that there's one big area that still needs addressing...AGAIN

[/h3][p]We've heard some of you have problems regarding stutters, so we're going to renew our focus on Optimization. We also know the graphics are a big part of the game's charm, so we're going to make sure that the visuals you've grown to love are kept as they are! [/p][p]But to make this possible, we need your help! After all, "It works on my rig" doesn't help unless we ship our rig to you. Games are complicated, and everyone's computers are different. So if you have the time, and are experiencing performance issues, could you leave a comment with: [/p]
  • [p]1. Hardware (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS, Hard Drive or Solid State Drive),[/p]
  • [p]2. The type of performance issue you're coming across (ie, consistently low framerate vs intermittent stutters vs extended freezes, etc)[/p]
  • [p]3. When the performance issues occur or what causes them (ie, always in Story Mode, when running around, in camps with lots of tribe members, after performing some action, after extended play sessions, etc) and Quality level
