Early Access - Patch Notes 08/04/2024

Hey there, community!

We are happy to introduce our first regular update for Hitori Kakurenbo Online. As promised before, we have dived into community feedback and placed all your ideas on our priority list.



[h3]🔪 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬[/h3]

1. Gamepad compatibility

You may now utilize a gamepad or controller to play Hitori Kakurenbo Online. We are presently testing this functionality, so certain categories will not work when you have your controller connected!

Due to the strong demand for this feature, we decided to provide an early version so that you may enjoy playing the game without using a keyboard or mouse until we complete it in our upcoming updates!

🎮 Game sections that work with a controller at the moment:

- The entirety of the gameplay
- Main Menu
- Pause Menu

🎮 Game sections that are still a work in progress:

- New Game: Where you are able to host a game
- Lobby: Where you are able to ready up and start a round

Stay tuned for more information about our finalized version for the gamepad compatibility and don't hesitate to provide additional feedback regarding it.

2. Back to lobby feature when the match has been finished

Players will now be able to easily return to the lobby after the conclusion of a match. Hence providing easier navigation and reducing the time required to organize a round!

3. Updated Discord banner in the Main Menu

Our Discord banner has received a fresh paint, being more in line with the theme of the game.

1. Improved general performance when being present in the lobby
2. Repositioned Early Access text so it does not overlap the lobby "ACCEPT" button anymore
