Update to Version 1.3.701

[h3]Game Crashing on Start (for some players)[/h3][p]It seems my last update did not fix the bug where the game would crash on starting. I believe this one may solve the problem. [/p][p]I think the bug has to do with the way certain game folders are named in the script. I encountered this issue on another game, and realized I am using the same script to name these folder. So I fixed the save folder name, and thought it would resolve the problem here too. [/p][p]But apparently it did not![/p][p]But then I realized, I am also using the same script to name the language folders, not just the save folders. So I have gone through and made sure to fix those too, in this update. Please reach out if you are still experiencing this.[/p][p][/p][p]NOTE: You may have to restart Steam to prompt the game to update.[/p][p][/p][h3]Try the Legacy Version 1.1.7[/h3][p]If it is still crashing, you can install an older version of the game for now, this has helped in every case I am aware of.[/p][p]To do this, go to "Islands of the Caliph > Properties > Game Versions and Betas" and select "Version 1.1.7" from the menu.

The game is basically the same, but you will not see the option to choose different languages. [/p][p][/p]
