In the latest Limited Time Event: Containment mode, a new threat enters the mix: the map itself! Entire wings go into lockdown on their own, locking you in to confined quarters with impenetrable door lasers. 🔒 The lights go haywire, impacting your visibility and ability to keep an eye on that conveniently placed vent on the wall... 🚨 Sabotage events initiate on their own, meaning the map itself could be the cause of the crew's demise... ☠️ This is no longer simply a matter of Crewmates versus Impostors — it’s Bean Against Environment!


Two rooms have also been added into the Containment map: the upgraded Hangar and the brand-new Vault!

Right at the heart of the map, the Hangar serves as an immersive starting point for game lobbies. Our Devs are especially proud of the immense sense of scale and openness this upgrade room offers — so, don't be shy about looking up and around. 👀 The joys of 3D!

The Vault, on the other hand, combines some of our favorite aspects of any room: a designated Security Cams corner close to ventilation (💨 it's for the air quality, of course. no other purpose!); a high-security vault filled with the crew's most precious cargo (seriously, this collection is impressive! ✨); an all new "Take Inventory" task to verify the contents of our mini-safe (who left the combination right on the front?! 🤐); and a convenient tunnel that was dug out to lead into the janitor's closet (.... wait a minute. WHAT?! 😱)


It wouldn't be a Limited Time Event with a few new additions to the Wardrobe.

Our first featured set, the Limited Time Pack: Containment, allows you to wrap your bean up in black and yellow tape with the 🚧 Hazard Wear Hat and Hazard Wear Gloves. 🚧 CAUTION: The contents of this set are extremely fashionable and may be dangerously deceptive! 🚨

We're also getting down and dirty with 🧽 Combo Pack: Squeaky Clean! 🧽 This pack adds SIX new cosmetics to wash away your fashion woes: 🧢 two VR-Exclusive hats 🧹, 💩 two returning hats 🧻 from the original Among Us, and 🫧 two handy gloves ⚪ for your bean.

Now that the dust has settled from the 💥 Vigilante’s DUM Justice, we’re here to break down and kick out some numbers for you! ⚖️


Let’s start with the obvious — you all love the Vigilante bean. 💙 And, let’s be real… who wouldn’t?

Throughout the duration of the Limited Time Event — DUM Justice, the Vigilante Hat ranked within the Top 13 Most Used Hats. It even peaked in the Top Five on June 15, beat only by the Trapp’d, Greh, Safety Second, and (of course) Fedora! 🏆


The Vigilante love showed its face in terms of gameplay win ratios, as well. 📈 A majority of games won in the event’s DUM Justice mode were won by eliminating all Impostors. 🥊 Now, we know that not ALL Impostor kills were done by the Vigilante (ejections are still a thing! ☄️), but… we suspect you Vigilantes simply enjoyed having the Kill power in your little bean hands.

This is even MORE evident with the fact that the average lifespan of a bean during the DUM Justice event was between thirty seconds to a minute! ☠️


Red continued to dominate the color competition. 🥇 However, we did see Grey and Purple knock down Blue and Green respectively when comparing to our previous Limited Time Event — Infection. 🌯

The bottom six colors remain the same as before, so we continue to root for our Yellow, Lime, and Brown underdog beans.


Now that we’ve put the Vigilante hood away and our Limited Time Event — DUM Justice has served its time… it’s time to look forward. 👀 We simply cannot contain our excitement to share the next event with you very soon! 🚨

The rules are simple: Show us your unique design for a Vigilante bean! 🎨 Draw, design, take screenshots, animate, sculpt… whatever visual medium you prefer. ✨ Will you be a mysterious and edgy masked antihero? 🦇 Maybe an adorably astronomical bean sailor? 🌙 What about a team of multicolored beans with giant animal-esque mech vehicles? ⚡ (What do you MEAN all of these ideas have been used before?!)

We want to see your most innovative and creative designs yet. 🎉 A randomly-selected winner will be awarded with TWO Among Us VR cosmetic packs of their choice! 🏆 This includes previous Limited Time Packs, by the way… 👀

Submissions will be accepted starting NOW until July 4, 2024 at 11:59pm Eastern (UTC-4) / 8:59pm Pacific (UTC-7), with the winner being revealed on our Discord and X the following week!
