Hello everyone! We are Yohcan Studio, the development team behind Awaking Beauty (夢閃少女).

We’re excited to share that Awaking Beauty will be showcased on-site at 2025 WePlay in Shanghai, where players can try the game in person!

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the G-EIGHT organizers for their support 🙌
Thanks to their arrangements, Awaking Beauty will be playable at the WePlay venue in Shanghai, giving more fans of action and roguelite games a chance to experience this “dream adventure × mech girls” title for themselves.
(Please note: this exhibition is arranged with the help of the organizers, and our development team members will not be present at the venue. We kindly ask for your understanding 🙏)

“Quit Today” NS and PS Console Versions Launch on October 23

[p]Hello everyone, this is Yohcan Studio.[/p][p]We’re excited to announce that “Quit Today” is coming to consoles![/p][p][/p][p]The Nintendo Switch (Physical & Digital) and PlayStation Digital Editions (PS4 & PS5)[/p][p]are scheduled to launch on October 23rd.[/p][p][/p][p]On the same day, we’ll also reveal a special surprise—please stay tuned.[/p][p][/p][h3]◆ Developer’s Reflections ◆[/h3][p][/p][p]From the very first time we searched for playtesters on Facebook,[/p][p]to our debut at Taiwan’s “3rd Indie Game Developer Gathering Only” in 2021,[/p][p]we still remember playing early builds of many talented developers’ games at the event.[/p][p]Those titles later became huge hits, while our tiny booth was just one small corner.[/p][p]Back then, we wondered—“Will anyone hear this small voice of our game?”[/p][p][/p][p]We never expected “Quit Today” to reach over ten thousand wishlists,[/p][p]to be featured by media outlets,[/p][p]or to travel to events like Taipei Game Show, G-EIGHT, TOKYO GAME SHOW,[/p][p]BIC Festival, and Gamescom—[/p][p]meeting so many brilliant creators, kind publishers, and supportive partners.[/p][p][/p][p]We never imagined that one day,[/p][p]we’d co-organize the East Asia Indie Games Celebration,[/p][p]a cross-regional event featuring over 400 indie games.[/p][p][/p][p]This journey—development, collaborations, organizing events—has never been easy.[/p][p][/p][p]There were nights when we couldn’t sleep,[/p][p]moments we felt like giving up.[/p][p][/p][p]But since we began making indie games, our lives have never been empty again.[/p][p]Not everything goes perfectly, but we believe every step has its meaning.[/p][p][/p][h3]◆ Recognition from Famitsu ◆[/h3][p][/p][p]This week, “Quit Today” received a Silver Hall of Fame rating[/p][p]from Japan’s leading game magazine Famitsu.[/p][p]We’re both surprised and deeply grateful for this honor.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Some veterans once told us:[/p][p]“For a small indie team, releasing a physical console edition is almost impossible.”[/p][p]We never expected it to happen—until one day,[/p][p]our publishing partner Justdan International asked:[/p][p]“Would you like to release a physical edition together?”[/p][p]And today, we can finally share this news with everyone.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]◆ Ready to Quit Today? ◆[/h3][p][/p][p]“Quit Today” will launch digitally on October 23rd[/p][p]for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation,[/p][p]alongside a physical edition for Nintendo Switch[/p][p](currently available for pre-order at select retailers).[/p][p][/p][p]If you haven’t experienced “Quit Today” yet,[/p][p]we welcome you to join us for this dream of quitting.[/p][p][/p]
