[p]Hello Dragon Hunters,[/p][p]We've something very important to share with you, please take a look.[/p][p][/p][h2]A Message to ALL our Players after a year![/h2][p]Early Access has been a wild ride, and we’re less than 1 week away from the 1.0 release of Dragonkin: The Banished.[/p][p]We’ve just come off the back of the multiplayer update, and the response so far has been amazing. But we can’t take all the credit; it was the culmination of our vision from the game, the feedback from you, our community in Early Access, and the hard work of the developers to make it happen.[/p][p]These changes seem to be landing well, especially the rework of the skill system to a spender-only system, the Hunting Board changes and the multiplayer for those who’ve checked it out. Thank you all for supporting Dragonkin to this point.[/p][p]It feels like we’re starting to build some momentum with new players joining and our recent reviews shifting the positive. With our launch less than a week away, you have no idea how much of a boost this will be for our small team.[/p][p]Over 20,000 games launched on Steam in 2025, Dragonkin: The Banished was one of them.[/p][p]The ARPG genre has also been competitive; there are great games in Early Access, big updates for older games, and new seasons for fans to dive into. It’s a great time to be a fan of Hack N’ Slash games with no shortage of choices where to spend your time.[/p][p]But that does mean it’s hard to get eyes on your project. Dragonkin wasn’t designed to be a never-ending live service project. It was made by 30 people who love ARPG games and wanted to create a follow-up to our last project. We kept some of the things we loved, couch co-op, a fantasy setting, and built onto it things like the Ancestral Grid, city development, and the quality of life features that, as players, we’ve wanted to see for a long time now.[/p][p]If you’ve been enjoying your time with Dragonkin: The Banished, then please make your voice heard.[/p][p]If you think we’re deserving of a positive review, being able to switch the average review score would help our team immensely at launch.
