5 Tips to Start Space Prison
Hey inmates,
New fishes in the tank, heh? Well, here are a few tricks to help you survive in here!
1. Choose Your Allies Wisely
Align with one of the game's gangs, such as Gravity Fist or Hypernova. Surviving their initiation will grand you with unique work benches and also mark your start into unique questlines while you decide whom to befriend and whom to target to take down in order to get their position in the gang hierarchy.
Therefore make sure to find out as much as possible about them, what kind of scrap they sell, and their strengths and weaknesses to help you decide who stays… and who goes & hopefully end up helping you escape this hellhole.
2. Death is not the end
In "Space Prison," death is not the end. Your efforts in upgrading your cell, building reputations with other inmates, and other achievements contribute to the meta-progression. This system ensures that every bit of progress you make has a lasting impact, even after your current character meets their demise.
3. Combat & Preparations
In combat, preparation, plays a huge role.
Experiment with the different rats, robots and inmates you can acquire to fight on your side & collect enough scraps and materials in order to use the workbenches to equip yourself and your team with useable items, armor or weapons, and should you not make it and die, make sure to pay the Morgue a visit, your things might still be on your old body.
4. Adapt to RNG Maps
The ever-changing corridors so that none shall escape will provide you with quite a challenge. Take your time to plan your routes carefully, considering the limited time and resources available. The corridors are restricted during the night, so you have to make the most of the day to complete your objectives and explore the prison. The map is divided into three sectors that will let you meet different aliens to hunt and also provide you with specific materials.
5. Take care of your needs
To survive you will need to take care of your health/hunger & hope. Things like sleeping or heading to the medical station will help you heal but will take your precious time. Hunting alien creatures to process them on the workbench in your cell or buying food to sate your hunger. As for hope, best of luck keeping it up, as there are not many things that can help you raise your hope, maybe a fresh-washed face might do or a hot shower?
