Production point of May | The trading system

Hello Adventurers!

The journey will not be easy... This update will help you to regain energy, hoping that you will have the right resources to restore yourself!
The trading system
Reworking the trading system and imagining new mechanisms

The old paid choices system no longer exists! Instead, we’ve turned it into a trading system that will allow you to give an item that you previously added to your inventory to solve a situation. You can give an object through a drag-and-drop, or keep it for yourself and continue the adventure. There will be consequences in both cases!
Revamping and tweaking the existing inventory
Players will finally be able to collect and add items or money to their inventory! Each person owns their inventory that can only be opened and managed by themselves.

To place an item in your inventory, you need to drag it on your character and drop it, then you’ll have in-real-time feedback about your actions. You can also take them out, put them back on the ground so your friends can transfer the items to their own inventories, and so on.

There will be 3 ways to use the items from your inventory:

 • to trade them
 • to consume them
 • to pass them on to your friends.
Informing about the objects better
As we try to make the whole storage and item system clearer, we need to make the inventory clear in the first place. That is why you’ll have a slot dedicated to money only, with the amount you own and the rest are 5 slots to welcome the items. By passing the cursor over the object, you’ll see how many HP it will cost!

By hovering over a figurine with an item in hand, you’ll have an action tooltip popping up as well as a colored outline, depending on the character hovering over it. The text will also appear differently depending on whether the person owns the inventory or not.

To store an item in the inventory, all you need to do is to drag and drop it on the figurine, if there’s some space left. If you equip the item, a small indicator “equipped” will pop up below the figurine to notify you about it. For regular storage, a small “+1” will pop.
Adding new HUD elements
Elements allowing to receive objects, such as environmental elements, a prop, or a character, will be outlined if someone passes their cursor on it.

There will be responses such as a dialog box, a visual effect, alterations, damage, or loot.

Work In Progress: Introducing the King of Varna

Axare King rules Varna with an iron fist. He is a strict, rigorous but genuine man that hates lies. In fact, his sword’s blade will shine if he is in the presence of a liar. To him, nothing can excuse such a crime, and will claim the highest sentence. However, he can show a lot of kindness and generosity to the people who are worth it and the people in need.
