Greetings Adventurers!

The release of Worlds of Aria is getting closer and closer! We wanted to introduce you to the different characters available at launch as well as the powers you'll be able to use to trick the roll of the dice 🎲

[h2]THE CHARACTERS[/h2]

In Worlds of Aria, you'll need to pick which character you'll play during the Campaign betwen 12 different choices. Would you rather be a fierce warrior or a king hiding his real age because it's a secret?



On vous laisse faire votre choix ! Voici la liste complète des 12 personnages qui vous attendent pour le début de votre aventure :

• Khanjar: A warrior who deserted the army after seeing too much conflicts.
  
• Tarot: A mage whose spells are all random.
  
• Gourmandise: A royal pastry chef with reknown success, who now wishes to live a simpler life.
  
• Grumps: An old bitter and asocial druid, able to communicate with animals.
  
• Kaheena: A former slave who became a gladiator, then a pirate.
  
• Alba: A bard and a storyteller, determined to live her own adventure.
  
• Raoul: A bard known around the world, who happens to have quite a high number of illegitimate children.
  
• Larcen: "What's yours is mine", Larcen is way more attracted by the pleasure of stealing from someone rather than possessing something.
  
• Evy: A young archeologist, curious about everything, who travel the world to look for ruins and ancient treasures.
  
• Archibald: A shady businessman, formerly affiliated to the crown of Aria. He ended up joining a group of adventurers make a fortune, but forgot his primarily objective along the way.
  
• Clemovitch: The king of Mirabilia and a better strategist than a warrior. His secret? His soul is in fact 300 years old, passing down from one descendant to another through the centuries.
  
• Good Fortune: A mighty fighter and a great duellist. He always keeps his weapons close to him, and some are also whispering he may have a secret identity...
  

[h2]STATS & POWERS[/h2]

Each character has its own stats and a unique power. In Worlds of Aria, multiple choices will be offered to you and you will need to use your Stealth, Crafting or Perception to successfully go through with it. Tread carefully when you select your character and make sure to have a well-balanced team!



Here's a sneak peek of the Powers you'll get to have in game:

• Khanjar: Accumulate charges for each damage taken, then use them to get -15% per charge at your dice roll.
  
• Tarot : Get a deck of 52 cards for the entirety of your adventure, then draw a card whenever you want to get a bonus.
  
• Archibald : Pay one gold coin, and draw a bonus to improve your dice roll.
  
• Evy : Three times per Campaign, get an automatic Critical Success.
  
• And so many more to discover on September 24!

Hello Adventurers!

In Worlds of Aria, you live a grand adventure as you travel from one scene to another to resolve mysteries and fight enemies. To achieve that, you need to roll the dice and it’s important that you succeed!

[h3]So, how can you do that?[/h3]


Well it’s simple: find new items to equip on your characters! By looking around in every scene you pass through and by gathering as much gold as possible, you can get new items which are more efficient and more interesting for your characters, allowing you to have more success in your dice rolls!

Each character has their own statistics: it’s up to you to improve them and identify which ones look more interesting to you. Would you rather improve Run and Jump or are you rather a Stealth player?

So once you’ve collected new items, make haste to equip them so your stats can be improved right away! Fair warning nonetheless: you can only equip two items so you need to make choices.



Would you rather equip a Torch to see in the dark and get a higher Perception or a Rusty Sword to improve your Combat stat? But maybe you'll get to buy a Scepter of Wisdom at the Merchant to get +12 in Knowledge...

The choice is up to you!

Worlds of Aria will let you live its stories later this year but today, we wanted to share with you a little more information about the multiple villains you'll get to meet in our light fantasy RPG!

Even though we are absolutely talking about villains here, they are not the evily dark villains you may know from dark and complicated RPGs. In Worlds of Aria, you will face grandiloquent villains directly taken from a play. We're developing this game with one goal in mind: to create a true TTRPG experience accessible to anyone and playable both with your family or your friends, even if you're younger (or a bit older).



In short: Worlds of Aria is an adventure game easy to pick-up and filled with unexpected turn of events that will allow you to have an incredible time ✨

But first, allow us to talk to you about the Big Villain of this adventure...



Grand Duke the main villain of the plot and he will be the one making the story moving forward. You'll try to catch him. He'll be able to escape.

You'll meet Grand Duke right at the beginning of the game when he hires you to retrieve a mysterious artefact lost in the depths of a tomb. He will accompany you for a brief moment then trap you inside as soon as he has his hands on the prize. This horrible (!!) treason will kick off your adventure inside this colorful universe.



While being a villain, Grand Duke is most of all a person of interest. Indeed, he is the queen's counselor during the day, while he secretly plots for her demise to get the throne at night. As you may have understood it by now, he is far to be someone you can put your trust into!



Grand Duke is obsessed with power and he's absolutely convinced he'll be a better sovereign than the queen Julia. To succeed, he even created a cult called "The Legates" with worshippers of the Enemy God. They don't know it, but them too are being used by Grand Duke for his own profit.



Spade is the right-hand man of Grand Duke inside the Legates but also one of the villains in the first Campaign: A Bad Start to a Great Adventure. He's a former army captain who turned to the dark side...



Spade wishes to help Grand Duke seize power in the kingdom, so you will meet him several times during your adventure. He's an ambiguous figure: he works for the bad guys but follows a strict code of honor. He refuses to hit below the belt and above all, he appreciates all a fight led with dignity.



The Demoness will be your direct opponent in the second campaign. The Demoness comes from the Dimlands, a land of magic inhabited only by demons and separated from the rest of the world by a massive wall. To free her people and exact her revenge against the humans, the Demoness only has one goal in mind: to destroy the city of Varna. Luckily for its inhabitants, you arrive at their rescue to prevent such event to happen!





The Dragon Sorcerer King used to rule over the island of Mykronos and every ten years, would force its inhabitants to organize a large feast in his honor and dozens of tourists were invited each time. Vainquished by a group of adventurers a long time ago, everyone believe he is now dead..;

But is he really?
