[p]This patch resolves the save game wiping bug that some players were experiencing. After investigation we identified that a script loading error was interrupting save game loading, resulting in them inadvertently failing and wiping previous saves.[/p][p][/p][p]We understand how frustrating this would have been for players, and so we want to say a huge thank you for your patience and understanding while we identified this issue![/p][p][/p][p]If you were impacted by the save wipe, we want to share a little tip with you to help you get caught up to where you previously were. If you enter [c]/dogmode on [/c]into the developer console, Omi will allow you to skip puzzles by accepting any solution as correct. This will allow you to simply smash the enter key to submit solutions and skip the puzzle end popups. Then, once you're caught up, enter [c]/dogmode off [/c]to continue playing as normal.[/p][p][/p][p]Or don't, we're not the boss of you! There might even be an associated achievement in future for playing the game with dogmode.[/p][p][/p][h2]Changes[/h2]

[p]This small seeks to resolve some of the issues experienced by players with their save games. While we are in the process of identifying what is causing save files to become corrupted, we have tried to implement more robust handling of save files.[/p][p][/p][h2]Changes[/h2]

• [p]Saves now have a capped number of dialogues stored to prevent save file bloat.[/p]
• [p]Backup saves are generated as a fallback in case of save file corruption.[/p]
• [p]Safer handling of files on load in case antivirus or other software interferes with loading.[/p]
• [p]The game will now reattempt loading several times.[/p]
• [p]Saves should only be wiped if the most recent and the backup save are both salvageable.[/p]
• [p]There have been some changes to the websites to make some puzzle solutions a bit more obvious.[/p]
