Frozen June News

[/p][p]Good evening, survivors. This is Marvin.[/p][p][/p][p]If this is your first time hearing from me, here's a quick intro. I'm not a developer or a designer. I'm just a regular person who helps test gameplay and talks with survivors, media folks, curators, and YouTubers. AJ is the one who actually designs, builds, and directs the game. Right now, AJ is on leave (not exactly by choice).[/p][p][/p][p]Anyway, we have some news to share.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]New Website for Achievers and Explorers[/p][p]Since I can't make games myself, I do what I can. That usually means typing. I've been making the FFN Universe DB, and I'm updating it regularly. I hope it helps as you explore Lumainaho State.[/p][p][/p][p]Everything on the site, including images and text, is free to use as long as it's not for commercial purposes. Feel free to use any of it for your blogs, wikis, articles, or whatever else you're working on.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]We Moved Offices[/p][p]We relocated from a cold, snowy, tree-filled town (not in Idaho) to a warmer, coastal one (not in Florida). This wasn't a scouting trip for new content. AJ's health hadn't been great, and the cold wasn't helping. [/p][p][/p][p]There are no gators or tornadoes here, and no Florida men either, but it is still a coastal city. If AJ ends up staying here long-term, that might help later when we begin developing Flostarida as a future update. [/p][p][/p][p]Speaking of Flostarida: Flostarida, where Rose grew up, is planned to be the next major state added after New Eve City in Flaming Friday Night. It won't be featured in FFN: EVE. Once the Lumainaho storyline wraps up in FFN: EVE, we're planning to introduce a new state set in the U.S. Midwest. No release date yet, though.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]So When Will AJ Be Back?[/p][p]I don't know. Maybe soon. But if we're unlucky, it might take longer.[/p][p][/p][p]I would like to say more, but there's a press embargo in place. We're not the ones who control it. It's being handled by a certain gentleman. And I'm not him.[/p][p][/p][p]Judging by the way things are going, it feels like it could be soon. Some parts of the embargo are already being lifted, just not the most important one yet. Once that last piece is lifted, AJ should be able to return within two months.[/p][p][/p][p]Here's a vague hint: what's currently happening in the desert veined with black gold is indirectly but significantly connected to all of this.[/p][p][/p][p]AJ is resting and gradually preparing to return to work. What's left now is the gentleman's final decision, and it's not ours to make. Over the past six months, AJ and AJ's neighbors have done everything they could.[/p][p][/p][p]Also, as we mentioned in a recent YouTube post, once AJ returns, FFN: EVE may shift to seasonal updates. This would help create a healthier development cycle and offer a better experience for survivors.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Thanks so much for sticking with us. Your support really does make a difference.[/p][p][/p][p]Stay tuned. Maybe your frequency should be set to Washington, D.C.[/p][p][/p][p]With gratitude,[/p][p]Marvin[/p][p]FFN Team[/p]
