We've released the October Update build for your Friday nights.

Who is Mr. Brandon?

Mr. Brandon is an unstoppable killer in a giant bear costume, roaming the Western Butterjackson Woods. Some of you might have already heard about him while helping a small group.


Fortunately, he hasn't invaded Huckletwain yet. However, it would be wise to give him an eternal rest before he has the chance to ruin this warmhearted village.


Therefore, strengthen yourself before he fully awakens from hibernation.

Have super protein from crocodiles. Hammer your weapon to reinforce. Loot deadly weapons from the ghosts or the gloom ghost if you prefer melee combat. Obtain plenty of ammo if you favor heat. Discover four-leaf clovers for your fate. Take a picture and share it if you find something good or odd. Discuss strategies with other survivors on how to survive in the Whispering Sunrise Forest.

New Area, New Killers

Survivors can now explore one of the shady, bleak parts of the Western Butterjackson Woods. You may encounter insane killers who look like ghosts. 👻








New Weapons

The killers will drop their own weapons once you defeat them: Splitting Maul, Dreary Splitting Maul.








Vault Joseph Inn, New Residents in Huckletwain

Vault Joseph Inn is now open!

Chloe will serve the dinner menu: Deep Fried Turkey, Twice Baked Potatoes with Bacon, Bison Fettuccine Pomodoro, French Calimocho, Chocolate Noir, Rainy Way Red Umbrella, and Rainy Way Black Umbrella.

Survivors will also meet new residents: Chloe Sangria, Elm Jackson, Ezraella, Bianca Thana, John, Jane, Sunny Herb, and Franklin Longinus.










Great Source of Protein!

With a hunting knife equipped, you can now gather meat, eggs, and hides from these scary creatures.

Chloe will also make you omurice or steak whenever you bring her meat or eggs! 🥩🥚













Bounty Hunting

After completing a certain quest, Sheriff Jackson will reward you whenever you bring him crocodile hides. 💵










Redesigned Christmas Tree

The Christmas tree has been redesigned and new types have been added! 🎄












Inventory UI

Survivors can now check most items instantly by pressing the V key: Ammo, Miscellaneous, Quest Items, Equipped Equipment, and Worn Apparel.











Damage Pop-Up and Headshot

You can now see how strong your weapons are when attacking enemies. Critical damage will be shown in red.

You can also make the Pop-Up invisible by pressing the ` key.


Additionally, firearms now have a chance to hit headshots. This chance is influenced by Agility, Concentration, and Luck. 🎯


Headshots instantly kill regular enemies and inflict 10x damage against bosses.









More Content on the Seasprinkle University Student ID Card

The Seasprinkle University Student ID Card now displays more achievement info for survivors!









Bug Fixes and Frame Optimization

We've fixed a few minor bugs and optimized frame rates to improve survivors' experiences.

Rebalancing

1. Increased hunting knife damage: 25 to 50.

2. Pizza buffs have been improved:

🍕 Pizza Margherita: Frost Resistance +20%, Strength +5, Agility +5, Endurance +5, for 30 minutes. Restores 50% of Health.

🍕 Classic Cheese Pizza: Frost Resistance +10%, Sanity +10, Endurance +10, Intelligence +2, for 30 minutes. Restores 50% of Health.

🍕 Pepperoni Pizza: Frost Resistance +30%, Critical Damage +25%, Critical Hit +25%, for 30 minutes. Restores 40% of Health.

🍕 Very Very Fiery Spicy Corn Pizza: Frost Resistance +45%, Critical Damage +50%, Headshot Chance +1%, for 30 minutes. Causes 20% damage to health.

3. Decreased the spawn chance of Dead Lumainaho Woodland Predators from 15% to 5%.

4. Increased the spawn chance of Wooden Crates from 75% to 85%.










Japanese Translation Improvements

Since translating from English to Japanese is my task and I'm still not very proficient in Japanese, even though my name is Yume! 😅 I'm constantly learning.

I've learned more about honorifics and yobisute in detail, so now characters address each other appropriately based on their relationships. Here are some changes:


1. Rose now calls Pandu パンドゥさん.

2. Pandu now calls Rose ローズさん.

3. Rose now calls Ember エンバーさん.



Revised Terms and Lines

1. 救急キット → 救急セット

2. Winston and Ember says: さようなら → バイバイ

3. 霜抵抗 → 凍結耐性

4. グリズリーベア → ハイイログマ

5. またな、仲良し。 → またな、友達。

6. おう、どうしてた？ → どうしてた、友達？

7. 素早い狩りを願ってるよ。 → 素早い狩りを願ってるよ、友達。

8. これは…これ、君のもの？ → これは…これ、パンドゥさんのもの？

9. 君はインド出身だと思ってた。 → パンドゥさんはインド出身だと思っていた。

10. じゃあ、君の家族は今どこに住んでるの？ → じゃあ、パンドゥさんの家族は今どこに住んでいるの？

11. 俺がいい人かは自信がないけど。 でも、君が望むなら、ここにいるよ。→ 俺がいい人かどうかは自信がないけど。でも、ローズさんが望むなら、ここにいるよ。

12. Ember says: うわー、君はとてもセクシーだね？ → ウヒョー、ローズさんはとてもセクシーだね？

13. あら、あなたね。→ あら、パンドゥさん。

Other Changes

1. A system message now displays when Pandu gives Rose a hunting knife.

2. Hunting knife description revised.

3. Fixed an issue where survivors couldn't return to the Main Menu while Rose was roasting the crocodiles after defeating them.

4. Survivors can now restore HP by staying in Vault Joseph Inn. A warm place to rest! ପ(੭◍ ´ᵕ`◍)੭

5. New tooltips have been added to The Explorer's Guide to the Whispering Sunrise Forest.
