(Super important) This is the last survey
Welcome, Knights and Princesses!
We are working on our plan for this year, but we have some concerns about the last update. The storyline is set in stone—written, recorded, and now being added to the game, which is the hardest and longest part.

As for additional gameplay, there is still a lot we can change and add. But the most important thing I have learned while working with you for the last two years is...

that 24 hours a day can't get any longer, no matter how hard you try. So we have to pick.

And to pick well, we need your full cooperation.

Unfortunately, it seems that at any given moment, either only the unhappy part of you speaks while the happy part does not take part in the surveys—

or we have a serious trolls/competition problem leading us astray. So...

This is the one you have to fill out

I have prepared a long form. I want to make sure you actually know the game and care about it—or that you care enough to be mad at us.

I need to know if you really, really miss cutting down trees in a game about knights.
Or, on the other hand, I really need to know if you are happy with how things are now.

We need to make the next update a success. We define success as making you happy—well, at least 80-90% of you. Yeah, sorry, but the next thing I learned is that you can't make everyone happy.

We really want to do a good job, but it seems we always miss the point just a little.

FORM TO FILL OUT

This is the final form—the one on which I will base our decisions. No more questions after this. If fewer than 100 people answer, we will just continue with the current plan. So be sure to tell your friends.

Updates will now roll out regularly, with a mix of smaller and larger ones.

The next update will be a bit bigger, though I can’t give you an exact date yet.

Coming up:
- Procedural events such as Mongol raids and bandit attacks.
- New points of interest to conquer and generate resources.
- Two new villages with complete upgrade quest lines.

We’ve also heard your concerns about the builder/crafter aspects of the game. These will be addressed next year, with some exciting additions, including a dedicated game mode.

Now, let’s play “1 Wish

I’ve gone through our surveys and your feedback, but I’d like to cross-check what matters most to you. Tell us the one thing you’d like to see in the game next year. Let’s make 2025 great for everyone!

Cheers, and I hope you had an amazing Black Friday with some great game deals!

Patch 0.806

 • Added throwing weapons: for now, a wooden spear (available from every carpenter). After testing, we will add more spears and other weapon types.
 • Added proper damage values to arrow types.
 • Added armor-piercing stats to ranged weapons and displayed them in the UI.
 • Fixed bandit, animal, and chest spawns for all tributes, including in old saves.
 • Fixed two quests, Wikman's Bears and Demon from the Cave, so the enemies no longer disappear.
 • Fixed a rare issue where chests were not generating loot.
 • Bandits and animals do not respawn while you are close to them

patch 0.805

patch 0.805 - 14.11.2024

- Fixed confusing text when saving to clarify that nothing is being overwritten.
- Resolved a rare bug where the dialogue camera occasionally passed through the hero’s teeth.
- Ludolf continues to sell animals even after you've bought his village and confirmed that everything is fine (Note: you buy his village at the highest possible tribute, and he currently offers no quests).
- Corrected materials on a single door wall.
- Moved the info text slightly lower from the middle of the screen to avoid covering the target.
- UI information no longer blocks interaction with the rest of the game.
- Fixed the breeding bar so you can now adjust it to retain a certain number of animals in your building after breeding, rather than automatically selling them all.
- Added a safeguard to prevent naming saves in formats not supported by Windows, which previously caused a visual bug that appeared to make saves disappear.
- Fixed an equip/unequip bug where entering a UI or dialogue required a second unequip before equipping items again.
- Added decorations to Macko's Villages.
- Fixed the shoveling animation for NPCs.

**Co-op:**
- It’s recommended to start a new game to avoid cross-version bugs.
- Fixed a hotbar bug during equip/unequip actions for the client.
- Resolved the client-side kicking issue to prevent spamming and ensure damage is counted.
- Fixed a co-op save bug where the joining player could end up lying on the ground unable to stand.
- The client can now see tools in the hands of all NPCs.
- In co-op, your armor, hotbar, and items persist after death, not only the first 15.
- Items like arrows and potions now stack in loot after death.
- Improved map markers.
- UI fix: the player number bar now correctly displays 2 at the beginning of the game, rather than 1.
- Chat messages (such as “X joined the game”) now disappear after a short time.
- Pressing Enter opens and closes the chat if you type nothing.

Patch 0.84

 • Added Chinese and Russian language support.
 • Tribute arrival notification added (sound + text) in the left corner of the screen.
 • Gold in inventory no longer shows as 0 after reload.
 • Resource merchant bar now shows the quantity to be purchased, not the amount to be paid.
 • Act 1 ending added upon completion of the last main story quest.
 • Added sounds for drinking and eating actions.
