Plan B - v0.9.4: grass everywhere, improved transports!

[p]Update 0.9.4 is here! This update brings two major improvements that will enhance both gameplay and visuals.[/p][p]Transport systems have been overhauled — drones and vehicles are now much more efficient. Drones waste less time and prioritize unloading vehicles. Trucks have been significantly improved to remain useful longer.[/p][p]Going green! Grass now spreads naturally from trees, covering large areas — including under roads, rails, and factories — giving your cities a more organic look. It will keep spreading as long as the soil retains enough humidity and the temperature is favorable. In drier or colder regions, it takes on a more yellowish hue. Trees have also been rebalanced, and cities will no longer require oxygen once there’s enough of it in the atmosphere![/p][p]This update also includes a variety of other tweaks and improvements — check out the full list below![/p][p][/p][h3]Plan B - v0.9.4 build 1039 [/h3][p]
Major improvements:[/p]
  • [p]Major rework of transports and drones behavior, to move containers faster and smarter. Trucks buffed a lot (cf. Balance changes). [/p]
  • [p]Add grass and rebalance other plants (cf. Balance changes). Grass automatically spread (including below rails, roads and factories) when planting trees, and gives a bit of oxygen (20% of a forest hexagon)[/p]

  • [p]Drones take off to unload stacks earlier, load and unload faster, give priority to transports, search for new task earlier, optimize performances[/p]

  • [p]Ship: speed 0.8 => 1.5, unlock level 20 => 19[/p]

New Trailer, Games Made In France, Demo!

The event will be streamed on Mister MV’s Twitch channel, and Plan B: Terraform will be featured on Friday night (May 15th, 10:30 PM, Paris time)!

We’ve also brought back the demo (for a week)!

Plan B - v0.9.3: copy-paste!

The most suggested feature is here: select multiple unit with a selection box and copy-paste them anywhere with a Ctrl+C!
You can also undo and redo your previous action with (Shift+)Ctrl+Z.

Also, you now have ice on mountains tops and on forest grounds near poles.

Remark: For the selection, there might be some position offset when you copy or paste over pentagon/heptagons, but those are highlighted so you'll see if this is the case.

  • Multiple selection, copy (Ctrl+C), cut (Ctrl+X), paste (Ctrl+V).
    Use selection box, double click, and modifier shift/ctrl to add/remove from selection.
    Use E/R to mirror or rotate selection.
    Export or import selection to windows clipboard (Shift+C, Shift+V)
  • Undo (Ctrl+Z) or redo (Shift+Ctrl+Z)
Improvements:
  • Drag system improved (ghost item while dragged). Need some time to trigger, to differenciate from selection box
  • Display ice on mountains and under forests in poles, and in high mountains in lower latitudes
  • Add mouse wheel sensitivity option

Plan B - v0.9.2

Here is more than 50 improvements for the game!
Nothing game-breaking, but we did a complete review and sorting of all the remaining tasks for the game, and we were able to complete a lot of old ones that had been reported/suggested a very long time ago! And now we know exactly what we have to do up to the v1.0 release (still planned for Q3 of this year).

And we are currently working on a very interesting and long awaited feature... So don't hesitate to join the discord and the Beta branch, to follow the development and help us by giving feedback on the new features!

Improvements:
  • Charts: show temperature for liquid water and oxygen for farms
  • In zoomed out view, show vehicles, buildings and stops with the color of their containers. Vehicles as oriented rectangles.
  • Update localisation from Crowdin. All help is most welcomed! Especially in Czech, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Thai, Ukrainian
  • Update wiki with all automatic data from game (items, recipes, etc.) (all help is also welcomed !)

Balance:

Plan B - v0.9.1

Here is a small update, to fix some urgent issues from v0.9.0. We also optimised performances of large storage areas, and rebalanced the farms so you need 2x less food processing plants and harvest to transport, while still required as much land area.

Improvements:
  • Drones perfs improved (especially in pause and for large storage areas).
  • Localisation updated from Crowdin (thank you all for your help!)
Balance:
  • Quality Food requires only 1 Harvest, but farms produce and consume 2x less (same farm area, but 2x less food processing plants and 2x less harvest to transport).
  • UI Info unlocked at level 1
  • Show 1 level unlocked item in advance
  • Prevent pile of dirt peaks. Add shift to make a nice hill
Bugs fix:
  • Fixed new achievments
  • Fixed water shader broken when ambiant occlusion was off
  • Fixed level 23 thing search in case of a strange city shape, and another related bug
