Plan B - v0.6.5 build 647

Hi everyone!
First, I'm sorry that this update took me such a long time. The EA launch was an incredibly great success, that I had not anticipated at all and so i have been completely overwelmed by feedbacks and everything around the launch. I'm still very late on reading the forum, but I will! Thank you so much to everyone answering and helping players.

Also :

- I've setup a crowdin page for anyone to help improving the translation. The initial localization was done by pro translators but it seems there was still a lot of issues. So if you wish to help, don't hesitate to check a few sentenes in your langage. It will also be much easier to handle the little changes on each game update. You can discuss in on the discord (channel #translation-crowdin)

- We now have a wiki:
It's still a very early state. I will (as soon as possible...) add items pages with data from the game, including all recipes. I created a #wiki channel on the discord to discuss it.

And here is the update:

Plan B - v0.6.5 build 647 HOTFIX

- add "no stop" warning in home screen, with link to game news

Plan B - v0.6.5 build 645 HOTFIX

- fix crash in some non english langages

Plan B - v0.6.5 build 644

Improvements:
- lines creation complete rework. Build trucks & trains directly from the build menu, no need to build stops anymore.

Balance:
- increase the city minimum altitude (at world creation)
- lower the water initial creation altitude
- change the gray overlay, light gray for future oceans bottom

Bugs fix:
- fix vehicles kept alive after creating a new world

Minor:
- text, help, hints changes

EDIT : I have received a few crash alerts, I'm investigating it, but in the meantime you can activate the "safe" branch (cf. steam properties of the game) to get back to the previous version

Early Access is live now!

Here it is, the game is live in Early Access right now!

So what more is there compared to the demo ? You can actually play up to the end game objectives : population of 1 million and 5% of planet covered by forests (and you can continue if you wish).

Those levels for now are a bit monotonous, just numbers. That's why my main objective for the Early Access period will be to add some story elements with specific items and objectives, to add some variations and maybe a few little suprises along the way.
I also wish i can support modding (there is actually already a very impressive mod !), and improve the world generation related to the oceans shapes.

But just like I did with my previous game Dig or Die: no promises. That's why i set the price not too high ($10) and I'll increase it if/when I add major content to the game. The idea is that you pay only for what is already there. If you prefer a game more polished, more complete, best is to wait. If you wish to try it now and help me make it better, let's go together through this Early Access :-)

As i explained in my previous news, the demo period has helped me get a lot of feedbacks. I know there are a lot of quality-of-life things to improve, missing informations... And when you get water, some of your industry migth be flooded hard... i'm working on that. I just beg you give me some time :-)
I've set my trello public for you to see all the feedbacks already taken into account, and what i'm working on.
Don't hesitate to join the discord or the steam forum, I read everything (up to now at least) and I try to answer as often as possible.

And if you enjoy the game, the best way to help is to write a positive review
Isn't that a beauty? No, you're right, I could have made it better. I'll delete everything and start over =D

Plan B - v0.6.4 build 637

Improvements:
- vsync off by default, and 60 FPS as target framerate by default

Balance:
- 2 instead of 3 carbon in the nitrogen + carbon => compost recipe
- 3 carbon instead of 4 carbons in the carbon => polymer recipe

Early Access on wednesday ($10)

Hi everyone

The Steam Next Fest period was really... unexpected. The game now has more than 100k wishlists. I honestly would never have hoped for that. The game development has been long and full of doubts. But it looks like you actually enjoy what me and the team tried to do :-)

Now, I really want to warn you: the game will be relesed on wednesday (for $10), but it's an Early Access. So yes, unfortunately there are still a lot of issues, a lot of things to improve.
I know, the trucks creation system is not great. When water is coming, some of your factories will be flooded and stop, and you can get oceans on the poles. Tuto and help pages are lacking some information. It's not good.

So, please, I beg you to give me some time to work on all that. I'm not new to Early Access, I've already gone through it for my previous game Dig or Die. I know what I can do, I know that I won't be bale to solve all issues and suggestions but I can improve a lot of them. I just need some time;

With all the feedbacks I got with the demo, the priorities are much more clearer to me already. I have set up a public Trello where you can see most of the tasks, and reported bugs and suggestions (I still have some to copy there). It's the tool I use for my work everyday, so you can see what I'm working on, and you can be sure it's up to date.

I'll be releasing some updates very often on the "beta" branch, and push them from time to time to everyone. If you want to help me testing the new version, you can activate the branch on the steam properties of the game, and discuss it on the discord.

Thank you again for all the support during the demo period. I'll keep up the demo until the launch on wednesday morning, so I can continue to get feedbacks, and in case I have time to release a small update.

Currently I'm working on a big simplification of the trucks & trains line creation ; and I've also started to work on the water "flood" issue (show where there is risk of future rivers and oceans, etc).

I love you all
