We did not update Rail Route: Story of Jozic for some time as we were focused on the new game elements in Rail Route. Now it is the time to catch up and showcase the new UI to all our players!

Update 11 is now available!

Update 11 for Rail Route: The Story of Jozic has now arrived, which includes a range of new features and improvements.

One major addition to the game is the Simple Switch, which allows players to connect tracks of different speeds and offers greater freedom in rail network design. The feature is automatically placed in between tracks with different speeds and can also be used in between platforms and autoblocks.

New keybindings have also been added, including a quick way to open and close the build menu using the "B" key on the keyboard or "X" on the controller, and a keybinding to cycle through time using the "`" key or right stick on the controller. The build menu has also been improved with additional features such as cycling through build items with navigation keys and the ability to assign shortcuts to specific build items.

The map editing process has also been improved with faster load times and smoother gameplay. The routing table is now computed and saved to the map data when a map is saved, eliminating the need to compute it every time the map is loaded. Players now have the freedom to purchase stations and autoblocks where they choose without any restrictions. If there are any issues with the path algorithm during map saving, a wall may be put around the map to prevent further issues during gameplay, but players can easily remove the wall and redo their map if necessary.
