We'll be releasing a combat test demo next week.

Hello. Friends
It seems that the battle demo that was supposed to be released today will have to be postponed to next week.
I'm really sorry.

We originally planned to release a 30-minute version of the battle demo.
However, all the team members thought that the main reason for making an indie game is to test it with users rather than just testing it in a small office.
That's why we decided to release a version that's over an hour long if you play through the underground dungeon area and the boss.
There were some sudden changes, so we wanted to show it to those who have been waiting for our game without any bugs.

Once again, we apologize for the delay.

I'll explain the additional parts.
A parry that wasn't in the previous version has been added. And if you successfully parry and input the attack key at high speed, you can use the counterattack right away.







This is the underground dungeon area. If you explore all the areas that have been revealed and play until the final boss fight, you can play for over an hour.

This weekend, I will use all my time except for sleeping to release the combat test demo. Please wait a little. You will definitely see us next week.

The reason we decided to suddenly release the combat test demo on Steam is because we realized that just talking among ourselves in the office and developing is not very meaningful.

I think listening to the opinions of users and developing together is the way for a small indie company like us to develop a game.

Starting with this demo, we will continue to develop VELASTER together with users by updating and sharing.

It's not a perfect version yet. It's a combat-oriented test version.
It's a slightly longer version than the version tested at Tokyo Game Show and other game shows.
Enjoy it at your own pace.

BITSUMMIT REVIEW

Hello friends
We have just returned from the Kyoto BITSUMMIT event.
It was such a great time enjoying the hot sun of Kyoto, Japan and meeting passionate users.

Although it was only a short three-day event, it was a really fun opportunity to introduce VELASTER to users in Japan and overseas.

VELASTER latest news

Hello. friends
How are you all doing?
I am writing this article to inform you of the project development status.
I always want to share many stories with you.
First of all, a new programmer and artist have joined our project.
Now, as a group of 6 people, we will do our best to present VELASTER to you all as quickly as possible.
I would like to let my friends know what we are currently working on.



We are planning a trailer video about VELASTER.



We will prepare a mysterious and dark story.
We are also working on improvements within the game. We are currently working on improving the UI.
We are changing it to be simpler and darker than the existing UI.



We are currently producing various drafts and will complete them and release them as soon as possible.
There is another good news.
We received support this time and were able to attend the BITSUMMIT Indie Game Show held in Kyoto, Japan. As we are a small company, it was difficult to attend because we did not have enough funds, but we were able to attend because we received support as a great opportunity.
I am so happy to be able to reach out to Japanese users through this BITSUMMIT.



I will prepare well and come to you.
We will continue to share even small news with you, whether it is good or bad.
We were able to continue development because of all of you who always supported us.
