Halve DEMO Patch Notes v0.3.6

Thank you for the feedback and bug reports so far! Here are the first demo patch notes:

- Slightly adjusted camera framing for square-ish displays to follow the players better (4:3 aspect ratio).
- Mouse cursor is now hidden while in-game
- The final demo challenge sequence no longer loses its awesome music when skipping the cutscene.
- Fixed characters sometimes sliding on the ground and losing their movement animations after a cutscene.
- Fixed Graphics Screen Resolution settings having duplicate entries.
- Fixed an edge case where the collected secrets count would get reset (Sorry for that! You can now search for all the secrets successfully, hopefully 👀).
- Fixed an issue that breaks/freezes the game when returning to the main menu screen while in the level restart sequence

Let us know if you notice any more issues or have any suggestions on what we could adjust! Thanks, and have fun with the demo!

A brand new HALVE Demo released!

Hey there!

We’re back after a looong time of silence - really sorry about that!! 🙇 We were laser-focused on Halve, making progress every single day to bring you something exciting - a short gameplay demo that showcases the beginning of the game! The HALVE Demo is available NOW on the Steam Demo page!

Check out the trailer below:

Over the past few months, we have spent countless hours polishing everything, updating each level, and fixing as many bugs as possible to bring you the best game we could. This is, without a doubt, the best state the game has ever been in, and the whole team is just so excited to show you what we've been working on.

By the way, it would mean a lot if you actually left a review for us on the Demo page if you end up trying it out, as we really want to know if the experience was enjoyable to you 💙

Also, since our team is very small, we most likely didn’t manage to catch every single glitch, bug, or issue while working on the game, so if you notice something that is off, broken, or just have any suggestions, join our Community Discord server and share your feedback with us! We’d love to chat with our players anytime!

Also, just before launching this demo, we had an exciting time at Comic Con Baltics expo, where we were showcasing Halve in a booth to hundreds of visitors. That was way beyond exciting, as we got to talk with so many players and fans alike, and see how each and every one of you reacted to the game. If you would like to try catching us at one of these expos, make sure to join our Discord server, as we share all the updates regarding events there as well!

Below are some moments from the Comic Con Baltics expo!

That’s it for this update, and thank you for reading thus far!

Hopefully you will enjoy the Demo as much as we enjoyed making it!!😃

Cheers!

Halve Devlog #1

Hey there!

Sorry for being inactive for such a long time - we've been working on fixing and polishing Halve's features as much as we could during the past year. We had loads of issues to take care of, which made the gameplay quality a lot worse than it should be - and because of that, we did not have any cool new features to showcase.

But that changes now! While fixing these major bugs and issues, we also took some time to upgrade different aspects of the game. This means that we have a lot of stuff to showcase - so the plan now is to do regular devlogs once or twice a month to keep you guys up-to-date!

So, without further do - check out this devlog video for a quick catch-up with the latest changes and have a peek into how we polished the player character's movement!
