[h2]What's New?[/h2]
[h3]Sanctuary[/h3]
Sanctuary is a new spooky Biome, filled with plenty of mysteries and enemies to face. To access it though requires a bit of ground work - Start a new run and find Carlos at the end of the Factory Biome. He'll have a task for you. Once complete you'll have a new option when you defeat Headbanger, to either jump into Rat Village or take on Sanctuary.
Carlos isn't just a means to getting into Sanctuary though, he has some interesting information about the Ark and it's inhabitants. This is the first of many quests that will be added to the game which will help dive into the lore and story of Windblown - so stay tuned for more to come!

[h3]New Enemies[/h3]
Any new biome wouldn't be complete without some new challenges. So we've added a bunch of new enemies for you to face, with some stronger versions littered about too. You'll have to tackle lasers, bombs, electricity, sweeping attacks, oh, and a healing unit... To break it down, you'll find: 5 new Sentinel enemies: the Drone, Head, Paladin, Priest and Caster. Along with 3 variant Sentinel enemies: the Alpha Drone, Feral Drone and Alpha Paladin.

[h3]Weapons & Trinket[/h3]
We've added 4 new weapons! That's right, 4!!
- Sharp Sisters - A pair of dual blades that brave Leapers may find familiar. Their Alterattack leaves a deadly flurry of blades behind as you dash forward!
- Elder Blade - Split the earth, like... 7 times. Knocking enemies back, and even off the map!
- Sentinel Wings - Sentinel Wings go bbbbbbrrrrrr. Or more accurately they fire huge lasers, perfect for eradicating anything that might stand in your way.
- Fishing Rod - To go fishing with... Nah, it's great for wide sweeping attacks and yeeting enemies into the abyss!
Plus a brand new Trinket called the Chrono Catcher! - This thing drops a zone on the ground which slows enemies inside. It'll also put the brakes on any projectiles that might end up flying through!

We're also adding:
- 2 new enemy variants (Fungal Swamp and Rat Village)
- 1 new skin - Obsidian Axolotl
- New Accessibility Options - See allies VFX and tweak stick dead zones on gamepads
- Hide UI - You can now press F3 to hide your HUD (another community request!)
- 5 new upgrades at Eperin - all of which were inspired by the community!
- 2 that increase the amount of items in the main shops
- 1 that adds small new specific Boosts to the shops and gates pool
- 2 that add new training racks to test Gifts and Trinkets/Magifishes in the Ark

[h2]Plus...[/h2]
[h3]Magifish Recharge Rework[/h3]
We've changed how these helpful fish recharge! You no longer have to wait for a timer, but instead can recharge them by dealing damage to enemies. This is an important improvement that will encourage you to commit more during fights.
[h3]NEW: Retrieve Your Remains[/h3]
We know it can be tough when you die on a run and lose what you're carrying. So we've added a new system that allows you to retrieve your Cogs, Memonites and Encrypted Memories by starting a new run and reaching where you died. You'll see an indicator appear at the edge of your screen when you get close to your remains. If you don't make it back to that point however, they're gone for good (or until they drop again)!

[h3]Revenge Mode Update[/h3]
We're making some changes to Revenge Mode as well, to bring it more in line with what we envisioned. When an ally is downed, you'll still go into the familiar fit of rage, but now you'll have an energy gauge that will slowly deplete over time - if it hits zero, you're dead. Dealing damage and killing enemies will increase the gauge, and if you fill it to the top, you'll revive your allies!
[h3]NEW: Encrypted Memories Bad Luck Protection[/h3]
We've added a type of 'bad luck protection' to the game to help make farming for Memories easier. This means that if you're looking for something specific like a weapon or skin, you won't potentially be grinding forever (we will start counting from this version, we don't have records of previous drops).

- Added a gauge that slowly decrease with time and increase with damage done or mob kills.

- Gauge decrease is paused for a moment when finishing a fight and in UI choice
- Player is no more interrupted when Revenge Start
- All mobs are pushed away when Revenge Start
[h2]Balancing[/h2]
- :star:️ Magifishes: are now refilled by dealing damage to the enemies
- :star:️ Encrypted Memories Drops: the algorithm now ensures that they will drop and not let you being unlucky forever (before the draw was just rerolling the dices fully randomly each time, making it potentially impossible to drop something if you had really bad luck) - note: we will start counting from this version, we don’t have record of previous drops.
- Encrypted Memories Drops: moved some to other enemies / places and updated their prices.
- Gifts: Deadly Expansion: now works in the same way on all bosses
- Weapons: Anchor Boom: the damage of the second part of the Alterattack is now done in 1 instance
- :star:️ Enemies: the ones who are not insta-killed by falling outside of the platforms (or who won’t fall at all) will still get damaged
- Enemies: Mother Ant cannot spit eggs more than 5 times during fight
- Enemies: Golem Brawler: whip foot attack is more deadly
