We've been working hard to address your feedback on the Chinese and Japanese localization, as well as fixing some minor issues.

Here's the latest patch for Terra Memoria! We've been hard at work addressing your feedback and squashing those pesky bugs. Here's what you can expect!

Your feedback has directly shaped the updates in version 2024.4.15a, guiding us in squashing bugs and enhancing the game. We're immensely grateful for your active participation. Thank you for helping make Terra Memoria better with each update!

[h2]Changelog[/h2]

[h3]Chinese Localisation Update[/h3]

We heard from our Asian players that Chinese, Japanese and Korean localizations are not good at the moment. We did our best to avoid this situation by involving multiple partners but because we can't even read these languages, it was impossible for us to be sure that everything was fine before the game release.

That said, that is a problem that we are currently addressing with new partners! The first language to be updated is the Chinese and it's now live with this update! If you still find that it needs more polish, please write to us so we can keep on improving it.

Next updates will address other Asian languages!

[h3]"Worth It” Achievement [/h3]

We’ve fine-tuned the calculation for the “Worth It” achievement related to the amount of money generated from sales. Now, collecting a large sum of money in one transaction that exceeds the achievement requirement will be accurately recognized, potentially applying to similar cases in the future.



[h3]Recycler’s Inventory Update[/h3]

The recycler will now offer items that you have previously sold to other merchants in the world of Terra. This change ensures that you can repurchase your valuable items, albeit at a higher price.


[h3]The Gardener of Beeghin Improvement[/h3]

Rosey, the gardener, previously failed to detect if the player had crafted a garden plot equipped with a scarecrow. This detection flaw has been addressed, enabling Rosey to accurately recognize and respond to the player's gardening achievements.



[h3]Double Circon for double fun![/h3]

An issue where Circon could appear in two places simultaneously has been resolved. This occurred when the quest "Where is Circon?" was activated and the village level was subsequently reduced by removing all elements. We've corrected this confusing situation!



[h3]Yne’s “Live On” Quest[/h3]

The “Live On” quest had a bug allowing it to be erroneously restarted, leading to quest duplication and reward multiplication. This issue has been rectified, preserving the integrity of your questing experience.



[h3]Sleep Menu Button Display[/h3]

We’ve eradicated a pesky bug that caused the sleep menu buttons to vanish when the Main Menu was opened and closed in rapid succession. Now, you can expect these buttons to display correctly, with no softlock.



[h3]Syl Character Selection [/h3]

During Syl’s introduction, a glitch that kept the selection circle on Moshang incorrectly has been fixed. Syl will now be properly highlighted in the character interface, streamlining your adventure right from this pivotal moment.



[h3]Jingmana Consistency Alteration[/h3]

Previously, Jingmana did not correctly alter the player's origin point for entering the spirit world, blocking access to shortcuts for confronting the various bosses within. We've now rectified this issue, ensuring that the shortcuts offered by Jingmana function as intended, unlocking access to the different bosses.



[h3]Echo Receptors in puzzles operate correctly under low performance[/h3]

In scenarios where a player utilizes a device with exceptionally low performance (below 30 fps), puzzles could previously become non-operational. Now, the puzzles will work even on potato devices.



[h3]Quest update interface crash in Fast Mode resolved[/h3]

We've also tackled a critical bug that affected the quest update interface in Fast Mode. If a player pressed the game acceleration key while navigating this interface and repeatedly pressed the confirm button, it could lead to a complete soft lock of the game. Thanks to your reports, we’ve implemented a fix to prevent this from occurring!

[h3]Can I play Terra Memoria with my Steam Deck?[/h3]
Yes of course, it's playable & optimized on Steam Deck. However, since Steam Deck support is still undergoing validation, the cloud save issue might be happened. We'll communicate on it once it's 100% supported.

[h3]What are the references for the soundtrack in the game?[/h3]

[h3]How long did it take to develop the game?[/h3]
francoimora: It took us approx 4-5 years in the making. We started with 4 people and went to 12 at the highest.

[h3]Is there any side content or anything to do outside of the main story?[/h3]
francoimora:You have some side quests to do, I think you can go to 30 hours if you do everything. The town building can keep you in the game for a reaaaaaaally long time :D

[h3]How long is the game?[/h3]
Around 20 hours for the main quest and maybe a few side quests, you may spend more time if you are going for 100%.

[h3]Can I become OP in this game?[/h3]
francoimora: Yes, enemies won't progress with you so you can grind levels if you want :)

[h3]How many characters are there and/or does the player have any control over their development? (stats, skills, etc.) [/h3]
francoimora: 6 characters! 3 main characters that have levels / stats / gears to equip + 3 assist characters that you don't level up.

[h3]Inspiration?[/h3] francoimora: The inspiration of the game comes from my favourite JRPG of all time, Breath of Fire 3. I also absolutely love Dark Chronicles and am very sad that the village building/RPG mix is so rare, so I wanted to have it in the game. I also did the console ports of the game, so you can ask me technical questions about it!

Since Terra Memoria release, we received a lot of love from our community and we would like to say a huge THANK YOU! And what a better way to say thank you than updating the game to fix the bugs you discovered ? Here is version 2024.4.1a !

[h2]Changelog[/h2]

[h3]Kluso quest[/h3]
Kluso was deleted from the map by mistake before the release of the game, making it impossible for players to find him. It's now fixed, you will be able to find him in the spirit world.


[h3]1 hour waiting quest goal[/h3]
There is a quest that was supposed to make you feel how sad it is to be a selfless mage... and as a joke, we put a goal that said you had to wait 1 hour standing next to a phone booth. You didn't really have to wait 1 hour and could totally do something else during that hour but because it generated a lot of frustration, we decided to just remove this goal. Sorry for our *bad* sense of humour !

[h3]Stuck in Constance[/h3]
There was bug where you can get stuck in Constance if the cinematic when you leave fails. Now, you can take the train again to leave Constance !

[h3]Stuck in Oxalis[/h3]
If you spoke to the fortuneteller in the spirit world after reaching Oxalis but before the bridge is repaired, you could get stuck forever. It's now fixed ! If your save is stucked there, just take the stairs to the bridge to get teleported.


[h3]Ghost elements in Beeghin[/h3]
When building your village, you can have ghost elements that can't be deleted. While it still can happen (we are still investigating it right now), ghost elements will get cleaned up when you reload your save.

[h3]Safety teleport needed in Tchalko[/h3]
You could get stuck easily in Tchalko near the factory and had to use the safety teleport to get unstuck. Now fixed !

[h3]A sign that shouldn't be here[/h3]
A sign that shouldn't be in front of steles puzzle next to Oxalis after resolving it was there. It's now gone !
