[h2]Attention, Adventurers: it's time for the finishing touches in Rooms of Realities[/h2]

Some history:

🔎Do you remember how it all started? First, we prepared a demo of Rooms of Realities, and on June 13, 2023, we launched the Early Access of the game. In that version, the entire "In the Shadows of the Pyramid" scenario was available. We were also ready for your feedback and to introduce further corrections and stories into the game.

Then, following the roadmap, we introduced further improvements to the game, as well as a new scenario, "The Forsaken Asylum" (in July), and the final set of escape rooms collected in "Nemo's Mysterious Formula" scenario (in August). This progression culminated in the release of the full version of the game on November 17, 2023, which included, among other features, Victory Rooms that allow you to pose for fancy, cool photos after completing the scenarios.



What now:

🔎Almost half a year has passed since the release of the full version of Rooms of Realities, and this project continues to bring us immense joy. We are pleased to announce another update aimed at enhancing the aspect of the game you've most frequently inquired about - extending the duration of the third act in the "The Forsaken Asylum" scenario.

The Final Update also enhances interactions with certain items, especially levers, and optimizes game physics, particularly during online play with friends.



What’s next?

🔎We know that many of you enjoyed our approach to virtual Escape Rooms and that some of you would like to see more Rooms of Realities. Currently, we are not yet ready to reveal our future plans, but stay tuned to see what else we come up with in the future!

[h3]Dear players, dear fans of Escape Rooms: we are grateful to you for supporting the Rooms of Realities project.[/h3]

Last year, we had a successful Early Access launch, following which we improved the game with frequent updates and, above all, with two large scenarios: The Forsaken Asylum and Nemo's Mysterious Formula (each of them consisted of three rooms). Then version 1.0 was released, and you can fully enjoy it!

It was a time of increased effort and work for us. We have drawn many conclusions and observations from it, thanks to which we are moving forward, but before we do that, we want to release a Final Update of the game.

The update will be free and will appear on May 9, 2024. Its main role will be to expand the third chapter in The Forsaken Asylum scenario, which was reported as being a little too short and requires expansion. We now have the opportunity to respond to your feedback and provide a new, larger, and updated version of this part of the game. We hope you will come back to check it out and enjoy discovering the secrets hidden in Rooms of Realities.

🎽 Here, we are separated from the beautiful, carefree sea by a port where large ships arrive. However, the sight of containers and windmills creates a pleasant atmosphere, reminiscent of traveling through another noteworthy location.

[h3]Today, we will tell you about how we prepared the posters that accompany you inside the game.[/h3]

As you can easily see, Rooms of Realities is a game consisting of rooms placed in three environments: Asylum, Egypt, and a mysterious submarine.

In our lore, however, players meet in their friend's basement (which serves as a lobby) to choose a cassette from which they will play a movie that takes them on a joint adventure. Since we have chosen this method of presenting transportation to fantastic worlds, we have prepared special posters for each of them, which also appear on the wall as the game progresses.



✴️We start, of course, with the "In the Shadow of the Pyramids" scenario, inspired by classic adventure cinema. The characters on the poster are clearly working together to find a solution to a mystery, whether through books or observation:



✒️The next poster was created for "The Forsaken Asylum" scenario. We wanted to show that despite the spooky atmosphere of the place we take the players to, the adventure remains light and humorous:



⚓️The poster for the "Nemo's Mysterious Formula" scenario focuses on the characters taking over the reins. Since this is the third adventure for them (and for the players), we wanted to show not only the new environment but also the confidence radiating from the adventurers:

⭐The game revolves around traversing a vast space station in search of upgrades, keys, and secret passages. Players must solve environmental puzzles and combat rebellious machines that have seized control of the station. Consequently, it epitomizes a classic Metroidvania experience within a modern VR environment.
⭐Despite being the second installment in the Yupitergrad series, its narrative embarks on a new adventure in a fresh setting, making it a distinct entity in its own right.
⭐A significant challenge in the VR game was introducing an interactive, clear map that enhances the enjoyment of exploring new secrets and solving puzzles. Through numerous tests, trials, and continuous presentation improvements, we've ensured that Yupitergrad 2 features a meticulously crafted, high-quality map rarely seen in VR games.
⭐Development and prototyping of the game spanned over 18 months, during which we expanded upon the movement system introduced in Yupitergrad 1. Key enhancements included the addition of enemies and the weapons required to engage them. This project represents a remarkably ambitious undertaking, where we relentlessly pursued the highest possible quality up until release day and beyond, through subsequent free updates.
