The Being & Becoming Playtest has finally begun. It’s been a long and challenging road, but we hope that you’ll love The Dream we’ve been weaving in the background. Hold steadfast to your anchor and your faith, and take the plunge!

The world ahead is dangerous and hostile, O Dreamers. You will:

Discover Relics
Each of the faithful is blessed by a relic of great power from The Word. Find relics from fallen divers that radically alter your combat abilities. There are no 5% more damage bonuses, only unique effects with stunning visuals. Mix and match any you can find to create new playstyles unique to your personal tastes or to counter specific enemies and bosses.

Unravel the Mystery of The Dream
The Word’s prophecy is fate itself. Discover your place within the prophecy and meet those whose fates your story intertwines with. Each strange NPC you happen upon is fully voice acted and has their own story to tell. Perhaps you can find a way to rewrite these fates and carve your own path through The Dream?

Behold Strange and Beautiful Sights
The Dream is a vibrant and eldritch manifestation. Explore detailed locations filled to the brim with peculiar creatures and destructible objects all bathed in an intricate lighting system that tweaks the hue of every individual pixel. We have heard your feedback and improved the visuals and animations throughout the game.

All of this is but a glimpse of the complete Being & Becoming experience. But in the spirit of the game itself, you can also directly affect The Collective Dream by leaving your feedback in the survey below. Your preferences, your tastes, your deepest fears will materialize, should you write them within The Word.
