FUMES Gameplay Trailer from PC Gaming Show 2024

A new FUMES trailer just dropped. It contains some new features that we are working on for an early access release of our silly game. Enjoy!

RUSTMITES is out!

It's an "endless chaser" mini game created to thank you for your massive support of FUMES.

Thanks to you we reached 10 000 wishlists on Steam which can be considered a minimum amount of wishlists that allow the game to surpass invisible Steam algorithm gate keeper. Basically it means that if game has this amount of wishlists it will be shown to some people on release instead of being "swept under the rug".

Also, it's our first time with GODOT game engine, which was an interesting experiment.

FUMES Soundtrack Disc A is out on Bandcamp!

To thank you for your amazing support and wishlisting the game we decided to release the first part of the soundtrack on Bandcamp.

So here it is! And it's free*

We will put the OST on the itch.io and YouTube in upcoming weeks. Also, we are considering publishing it on the Steam and other streaming platforms like Spotify, but that will have to wait for a complete soundtrack.

FUMES DEV LEAK 01

Hello!

Some update about new features that we are developing for the game!

We are working on a total rework of terrain generation. Some details:

  • Mountains!
  • You can go everywhere. Map is still infinite.
  • Draw distance up to 5km.
  • As always, fog everywhere!
  • Heavy use of multithreading which makes it quite fast on CPUs with more than 2 cores.




Demo patch 0.04.3

Hello Scrappers!


We published patch 0.04.3. It contains mostly bugfixes and tweaks. Most of them are based on your feedback, so thank you for your support!

What's next?

For the upcoming weeks we will publish the demo on itch.io and try to port it to Linux and macOS. Our testing possibilities on these platforms are quite limited, so support for them should be considered experimental. More on that soon.

Anyway, here is a (boring) list of changes:

  • Fixed major bug with enemies being stuck too far from the player.
  • Fixed boss fury dialog not disappearing.
  • Scrapper truck ramp made visible from the back.
  • Increased chance of free-roamer skirmishes.
  • The opening cutscene has been shortened.
  • Added Expirator boss skin to loot.

  • 2 new rhombus stickers added.
  • 2 new skins added.
  • Some skins has been tweaked.
  • Added new shouts for enemies and bosses.

  • Adjustment of damage from enemies with rocket launchers.
  • The number of Auto Shellgun and Shellgun projectiles increase.
  • Ricochet chance of Auto Shellgun increase.
  • Crazy Chrome and Cubot bosses difficulty tweak.
  • Tweaks of follow distance for some enemies.
  • Tweaks of scatter angle for Rotor, Automat and Auto Shellgun.
  • Improvements to Bavarius weapons setup.

[h3]Settings and UI:[/h3]
  • Added gameplay settings to decrease the amount of dust.
  • Extended render scale setting range to allow supersampling.
  • Mouse window locking accessibility setting added.
  • Added a link to press kit in the streamer mode menu.
  • Wishlist button tweaks.
  • Quit prompt rework.

[h3]Audio tweaks:[/h3]
  • Automat and Rotor SFX volume tweaks.
  • Fixed Automat sound to make it more punchy.
  • Reverb sound effect was decreased.
